Well I sent in my application going over it many times to make sure it was PERFECT! and I get a letter in the mail today, because I was born in Canada but I'm now a U.S Citizen I had to show them proof ie. U.S. passport copy.. I swear, I looked everywhere in the application and I did not see just because you were born in a different country but now currently a US citizen that you had to show proof.
Well now I have to make a copy of my U.S. passport and send it in to have my application finally process, MORE DOWN TIME!!
Sorry just had to VENT. Hope this help others.

Yep, this applies even if you were born overseas on a military base. It only adds a week or so on the process though.
