Just started shooting a year ago and I've caught the bug! (It all started with a simple day at the range with a rented Glock 27) Not like some of you I'm sure but I'm going to do my best to catch up! Thanks for all the wonderful posts as they've been a help beyond belief!! Cheers and Happy Shooting!

Ok...I'm an idiot and I'll be the first to apologize. Sorry for not getting this in the right forum. I'll try and figure out how to move it. :( I just got a little ahead of myself after figuring out how to post pictures.

Cool collections guys. I also started shooting seriously earlier this year but owned my first firearm back in the early 1990s. AR-15 carbines a shotgun got me going this past summer and now the pistol bug has bitten me.

If I had a choice between sharing my bed with my wife, the firearms or my 2 German Shepherds...lets just say that I'd be one well protected sleeping individual and that I'd at least give her a pillow and blanket for the floor! haha

Mauiblue...Just left Hawaii 2 years ago for Arizona and although not the Islands, the gun laws are brilliant!! :)

Great pictures guys and now I'm even more envious...guess I'll have to go buy something today! ;)

I think I have 20 Glock mags. All but one are loaded. (The "unloaded" one is loaded with snap caps and being used to help break in a new mag pouch.) Even my 3 AACK .22lr mags are loaded.
If 100 people break into my house I won't have time to load them all. Geez, what a dumb question. ;)

Every magazine for every rifle, shotgun, and handgun I own is always loaded.

Aside from my Glock 21 magazines, because right now, I'm out of 45 acp ammo other than what I carry daily.

Thanks Iceman and KentuckGuy as it was by complete accident that I put it together! To be honest, these forum threads were the most help as I've learned more than I could have imagined. I think I'm "addicted" but it's worth it! lol

Naptown...I keep all of my magazines loaded and stored in different locations in the house. My wife is a much better shot than me and we don't have any kids, so there's not a huge safety issue...I even have some hidden in the backyard! haha (I also hate having to load them while at the range! :) )

I love the Magnum "Wrist Rocket" but I'm not quite sure what caliber to use! ;)

I'll match your rock thrower and try and trump you with these!! hahahaha

The only changes in the near future is: G26 becomes a G20c, I'll add a G31 or 32, and a Springfield M1-a1 joins the fleet next year.

Looks like local brahda doing good in AZ. If I'm not mistaken, AZ allows for CCW? I wish Hawaii will allow CCW sometime in the future. I can only hope. There is a CCW bill that is coming up again in the Hawaii legislature next year. This year was the closest a CCW bill came to become law. Some say very unlike but who knows...

It is actually incredibly accurate, mags are impossible to get and very expensive when found but I got such an incredible deal on this I cannot complain! Gun, no mag at LGS $75, got a 50 round mag as a gift from a complete stranger from Croatia on a serach I did at various forums!

Beautifull guns SVTNnate! You got me filled with jealously with those Pythons!!!!!

Great pictures as well and I been making a living as a photographer for ad agencies for over 20 years! Do you shoot them? They look like they have never been shot... I cringe at the notion of being forced to have only 10 round magazines on some of those due to your location, I feel for you.

The "hair" on the GrayGuns P226R is a nylon strand from a pistol rug, and I didn't bother to take it off prior to taking the pic.

The camera is an old Canon G3. It was pretty high end back in 2001 or whenever I bought it :) I don't use a tripod, either. Just natural sunlight. Of course, all of those pictures have been digitally edited to adjust exposure and sharpness.

And to bluelineman... I figured that a 4-page photo gallery is inherently a *56k go away* type of thread.... the pics load up in seconds on my regular ol' cable connection :)

That's most of my pistols. The matte blue 1911 is a Springfield Custom Carry (basically an FBI model minus a few features) that is back at the Springfield Custom Shop right now for a full blown custom job. I had to buy the gun in CA-certified guise (which took 6 months to get), then send it right back to get it built the way I actually wanted it. I still don't have it back. The entire process should take about a year from ordering to having my custom spec'ed gun in my hands. All for just a bit more than the cost of a PRO model, but better IMO.

I also have a NIB S&W 640 that will be my primary CCW, and it's at Gemini Customs right now getting made over.

I'll pick up a Colt Defender next week, which will also be for CCW use. That'll likely head to Wilson Combat before the end of the year for some custom work.

I'm always looking for another Python... I would like a 4-inch stainless model to be my regular range gun for when I want to launch .357 Magnum.

LOL! It's not hair, and if it was, it wouldn't be white/silver, yet anyway... I'm only 27 years old, and for the record I've never carried a gun of any kind in a Smartcarry or even IWB ;) We are limited to 3 guns for CCW here, which are all listed on the permit by serial number/make/model/caliber. None of those guns have ever been holstered except for the three stock Glocks (19/26/30).

If I remember right, one of those pics uses a white tee shirt as a backdrop, and there is a small hair from my beard that shows up in the pic. I can't recall if it's a picture I posted in this thread, or not. I missed it, and was too lazy to re-take the pic later!

In July 2000 the Department of the Army - Headquarters, Operations System Command, Rock Island, Ill., awarded Primex Technologies, Inc., base and option contracts totaling $3.8 million to produce 331,800 rounds of the 20mm MK149 Armor-Piercing, Discarding Sabot Cartridge as a Foreign Military Sale through the U.S. government.

Thats about 115 dollars per round. So im sure they would be about 200 bucks per round plus the 200 tax fee. Thats one expensive toy. It would be fun to shoot, but only on someone elses dime. I saw a youtube video of a 20mm with a suppressor. Its pretty sick.

That eagle is actually the Weimar Republic emblem. I believe that Hitler changed the emblem to the more famous eagle holding a swastika around 1935. That would mean that your rifle was made before WWII started although the stock is the laminated style produced later on.

You'll notice that on any currently produced German firearms the Weimar eagle is once again present.

I may be able to provide you with some further info. If you are interested PM me.

Just picked up the 10/22, got a great deal on it, and you can't beat $16.00 for 575 rounds :)

When I first started shooting 4 years ago it was $9.99 for the 575 round Golden Bullet value pack.

Wow.....its up to $16? I havent bought any .22lr in quite a while. The local Pamida was going out of business and when they had everything marked down cheap I bought a crap load of .22lr - havent bought any since.

What else did you expect from folks that post on Glock Talk? Sorry- this isn't a knitting forum. We're firearms enthusiasts and we enjoy our firearms.

I have nothing against owning all the guns in the world I just don't have the money to do it yet. Forums like these give me a reason to live and want to get out of college.

Not even close to an arsenal, but here are a couple of mine that I just posted in another thread. I will try to add some more pics of the cowboy guns when I get a chance.

:wow: Which 1911 is your favorite?

Actually, I like my RRA Limited Match, Springfield TGO1, and my Wilson Super Grade the best. Out of these three, its hard to pick a winner.

I have a few others on order that may take over first.

Okay Bac, a fair question.

You're in your home one night and hear the glass break downstairs. How the *&$% do you decide which gun to grab to go down and confront the BG? Do just stand in front of the safe and stare? Is there some sort of merit point system you use to figure out which one deserves the honor? Or do you just grab the ugliest-ass gun in the cabinet to the local PD doesn't get a $3,500 new toy?
