Well! Pat you on the back. Congratulations!

(wish the smilies worked)

Say, if you have a package of sausage that won't quite fit in your freezer you can store it over here. Course, then you may never see it either. Better keep it there.

Hey, now that you have deer meat in the freezer think you and Amber will make the November ICORE match? It's a Saturday, match.

I went hunting for the second time in my life, first time that I would say actually counted.

Here's my first deer :)

Shot on the trot with 6 minutes of twilight left at a range of 350ish yards, 16" spread.

Did you write off the deer hunt?

Congradulations Carl. Good shot!

Happy New Year!

Ha the hunt was fairly cheap, although as of right now I didn't recover my brass.

Taxi says that the deer weighed at least 215lbs, scores around 125" (guesstimate), and was 21 or 22" and some change tight behind the head, 24.5" 3" back.

I recovered one of the 357 bullets, it bounced off the skull, through the ear.

What! It took more than 1 shot?
:50cal:

The processing is where the expense is.
