I am not selling, just curious.
I have a MILLED Norinco Chinese MAK 90 (7.62 x 39) with a dragunov stock. I don't have any pics, but it's similar in appearance to the one below.
Thanks!

I would guess $500
I agree. The rifle being milled makes it more valuable.

That is a MAK-90. Not a pre-ban

According to the site below, mine was imported in 1993.
All MAK-90 rifles have stamped sheet metal receivers except for one lot of rifles imported in 1993 that had receivers milled from a solid block of steel.

I would've guessed more. What would a comparable stamped one go for?
$450-$500.
$50 less were it stamped.

For a milled MAK-90 sporter, it would be more around 700. to 800. All the MAK-90 Sporters, in stamped 1.5mm I have seen are in the 400- to 500. Pending on cond. You can do some change outs to make it original, and should bring a bit more. I.E. Get rid of poly and put wood back on. Thois is all based on my market area mind you. Diffrent areas prices may vary. Supply and demand. The Norincos are bringing on average more than Yugos for example. IMHO. Happy Thanksgiving to all BTW.

Stamped go for around $400, so milled will be about $500-550.
You can price it at $800, but I guarantee you will never sell it.
I have seen some priced at $600 that have been for sale for months and months.

Keep that Mak-90 and put a nice 4 piece wood stock set on it. I bought this rifle from a pawn shop for $175 O.T.D, with a orange Thumbhole stock. I rebuilt mine with a stock set from http://www.ironwooddesigns.com

The wood is California Black Walnut.

Nice pickup on your part.
I like the synthetic stock better than wood myself. I like the fact that you can bang it around a little. I guess that's why I have a Glock, Benelli shotgun with a synthetic stock...

I have no preference between wood or synthetic....as long as its a pistol grip config......I hate the butthole stocks.
Here is my $250 stamped MAK90.....I promptly converted it to standard PG config using synthetic Russian plum furniture.

I prefer wood, though my next two builds are going to have synthetic.

I may be putting mine up for sale soon, depending if the right offer comes along (or a possible trade on a Bushy or DPMS M4-A3 flat top carbine). All original Polytech Legend Series, milled receiver, pre-1989 Import Ban model, etc. What made this one extremely rare was that it came from Polytech with the AK-74 style muzzle break and a Polytech manufactured polymer foregrip (aftermarket B-square mount and scope was installed by me using existing pins / not drilled). From what I understand, less than 100 of these with the Polytech muzzle break / vertical foregrip models were imported into the US. I've only seen one other up for sale on gunbroker a few years ago... haven't seen any since then.
At last appraisal it was put at anywhere from $900 to $1,300, but I really don't care to get that much for it. If you're a collector or want perhaps the undisputed *best* AK ever imported into the US, then this is for you.... but, if you're looking for just a weekend shooter, there are much cheaper AK's on the market which are very excellent rifles that I'd highly recommend for those on a budget.
I have way too many firearms, and this baby just needs to find a good home for someone who'll put it to use (she's been sitting in my gun safe for the last 10 or so years with less than 100 rounds through it). Like I earlier mentioned, I'm actually more interested in a simple trade on a Bushy or DPMS M4 carbine even if it's used (but not abused).

Anyway... I'll probably put up a more formal ad in the "For sale" section here in the forums later. I'm gonna list it locally here in Oregon / Washington first to see if anyone's interested in a FTF trade for an M4.

Keep that Mak. It's only going to increase in value after the next assault weapons ban.
I've got about $600 in this stamped one. I figure it's worth that.
