Got a fair deal on a .380 Lorcin, only paid $250 with tax and a box of Wolf ammo.
What do you think?
I am only gonna keep this in my car in case I have some trouble, I don't feel comfortable carrying it yet.
Besides, I don't think I can take it into my favorite club.

IMHO a surplus CZ82 from AIMs is a good buy and a more quality gun too.
If you're gonna use a gun to defend your life, better get a reliable one.

Lorcin, Jennings, Phoenix, Raven, Jimenez. Run like hell away. We're here to help you out, if you're new to guns. "The lady at the store" is trying to make money off you.

I know that everybody has to start somewhere but you cant tell me that this guy is for real. If he found this Glock forum then he could have did some research and knew that Lorcins are junk. And if he bought a Lorcin , why did he come to a Glock forum? IDIOT!!!!! YOu could have saved $100 more and bought a good used GLock . Hell for $199 you could have gotten a military surplus CZ-82 in 9x18 Mak that woukld be practicly new with a little cosmoline on it and its as relaible as Glock.

I bought a gently used(mint condition) Bulgarian Makarov for 125 bucks at Gander Mountain-and they are sometimes known for high prices. A Lorincin is worth about 100 bucks-but you will have a much better time getting a High point for that price-they are suprisingly reliable(Hi-Points) with ball ammo. What the heck...you are pulling our chain anyway.

I traded a rusty little Beretta Bobcat .22 for a Lorcin .380 once, and I KNOW that it was one of the more stupid moves that I've ever made.
Take this VERY GOOD ADVICE, please: Take the gun back, get your money back, and buy a Bersa or something. Anything...and I repeat ANYTHING would just about be a better purchase.

ok, THIS THING ROCKED!!
I was able to make it through the whole box with about 4 jams, but it was getting better before I ran out of ammo.
I have ordered a couple more mags....what would you guys recommend for defensive ammo?
And no, I am not a troll. Someone suggested I come here since this place has a rep for a wealth of knoledgge. We'll see about that.
Anyway, what would be a good holster? The lady at the store suggested an Uncle Mike's in the pants holster. Anyone have any experience with it? I can get it for $25 since I am a repeat customer.

For SD ammo id look into a BIG rock or maybe a hammer as it will ultimately be more reliable in a SD situation. as for a good holster id go with a trash can.
Ok, now it's beyond help, if you're really not a troll. Either way, the entertainment value of this thread is beyond passed.
Can someone provide the link for the 25,000 round torture test of the 250 Lorcins used to get to 25,000 rounds?
What is safe for cleaning the zinc pipe they use for a barrel? Drano says it's safe for all pipes.
Can you really blue pot-metal?

When you buy something like a Lorcin do you get ones like: "Pimpin' Ain't Easy" or "Got Crack?",?

I don't know if you can find it, but go to a gun show, and see if any of the guys carry "Black Talon" ammo. They don't make it anymore because of it's ability to penetrate body armor and level iV plates, even in a .380. It is worth it's weight in gold. Buy as much of it as you can. That is THE best SD ammo out there for it.
I wouldn't go with the uncle mikes. It's cheaply made and doesn't do the gun justice. I would contact Milt Sparks or a guy in your area who specializes in leather work and see if they can make you one. If you get one through milt sparks, tell them you want it styled after the versamax II. They might be able to dye it as well to match the grips, just a thought. But yeah, that is what i would do for a holster if i was you. A fine firearm like that deserves nothing but the best to be carried in.

In that case I think he needs one made from a material that compliments his gun's construction.
For a mere $750 I can make a slick CCW rig for him from laminated Wal-Mart plastic sacks.
Plus I'll be generous and throw in free shipping.

I'm thinking of getting a Jennings 25cal and send it to Italy for engraving by one of the masters. Since the Jennnings is only $104 I can use the savings toward a set of legal ivory handgrips and send it to Barsto for a match barrel.

alright, I'll play along. Seriously, if you're looking for a inexpensive CCW check out a makarov or as many have stated before a cz-82. I've fired both jennings and lorcin firearms at the local gun range and experienced FTF, FTE several times. There is a reason they have a bad reputation for quality. Are you really going to trust your life to something that will likely fail on you?

That probablly would be too difficult to do and you wouldn't be able to get good definition. A fancy engraving would be the best as you could carry it as a BBQ gun, especially if you get a real nice holster made with fine detailing and accents.

They are going to be pricey, probablly about $60 for 50 of them, but trust me they are worth it. No other ammo out there can do the same as it can. The closest is probablly extreme shock ammo but it can only penetrate level IIA vests. However, there have been instances and cases where it caused spontaneous combustion upon impact of where you are shooting. In that case, that would be the preferred ammo for SD uses.
I don't believe i've ever heard of Pro Ordinance rifles before but there are other options out there if you are looking for a superior rifle or carbine. There is the Hesse line of rifles that are very well made

Sorry, but due to my proprietary no slip liner/retention system made of unobtainium I can only make them for Lorcin, Jennings, Brycos and Davis pistols.
With one exception for Glocks if you had one of those pure ceramic model 7's it would be possible.

For that kind of money, how many more do you want. Years ago I use to buy them for $86.00 new, the 9mm was $127.00 and the .22 was $46.00. Don't be foolish and carry a round in the chamber, with a little wear on it and dropping it will cause it to go off. They went out of business because they coundn't meet safety standards and they had a huge problem with the inventory going out the back door.

You need to get a different gun. Four jams in one box of ammo is unacceptable. If you paid $250 for that thing, you got screwed badly. Cut your losses and get a Ruger or something for $100 more. Just get rid of that gun.

They do, I can't begin to tell you how many Kabooms I've seen at the range. Glocks are totally unreliable.
Maybe a good Comanche revolver or a fine Jiminez Arms semi-auto would be better. If you really want to man up on the gun you could go all the way and get a Tec-9, it'll shoot right through a building. Just don't use hollow point copkiller ammo in that one, it may tear the fabric of the space-time continuum and then we'd all be screwed. Remember; with great power comes great responsibility.

All 7 glocks ive owned exploded after only 3-8 rounds. I just slowly learned how dangerous they were over the years. I wish id knew about that gunzone website years ago. Id be a few thousand dollars richer and have more fingers to boot. My last glock was the lucky one to make it to 8 rounds, but I was in my back yard and some of the flaming shrapnell made it onto my house and burnt part of my den, which was an insurance nightmare. The 3rd one that exploded, blew 3 of my fingers off, (making me a righty in the process) and my index finger actually hit a small engine plane, causing it to crash into a grain bin which burnt an entire village to the ground (only a few head of cattle were killed though......oh,and the pilot). That polymer stuff really burns good once it gets goin, so steer clear of cheap guns like those. The only plastic gun I would consider buying now is that new super soaker artic blast 500 that can shoot freezing napalm. I think KBee toys has it for around $29.95 for the holidays, but im still not sure if I can conceal it. If I were going to sell a lorcin to my grandfather though, and thats a very big IF, I'd sell it no cheaper than $600 since hes family, and I might go $700 since it has the rare plum purple edition grips. If you have any good pawn shops around there, they might find you a good used jennings for a few hundred and get some ammo to boot. Real american zinc is the way to go imo, and lorcin and jennings pretty much cornered that market. That lorcin may save you or your grandfathers life, depending on if your crazy enough to sell that piece of american history.

OK, guess I will have to start droppin' the hints to the ole Lady about a Glock 19 or 23.
If I have to I guess I could sell some plasma or my "seed" to scrounge the $$ for plastic pistola.
Would a used one be OK?
I bought the Lorcin new and am concerned about a high round count on a used gun.
I have been reading the site and see that Glock has a pretty good customer service group.
What about a lazer sight?
Go back and tell them they charged you way too much and the gun is lemon.
See if they will give you store credit for the $250. Then make payments if you have to and get something nice. Like a Ruger 9mm. A new Ruger 9mm is about $350.
Ron3
I have 100 rounds of 9mm wolf I'll sell you for the low, low price price of 50 dollars. I'll even offer you the option to buy another 100 for the same price. It'll run great in that lorcin!

I have 100 rounds of 9mm wolf I'll sell you for the low, low price price of 50 dollars. I'll even offer you the option to buy another 100 for the same price. It'll run great in that lorcin!

You guys are funny. Some of these comments are over my head since I don't know much about guns and stuff.
I am still chuckling over the knife and watch.
Anyone know anything about the Professional Ordinance rifle? I liked the way it felt and the light weight. It was bad ass. It looked like the gun the army uses, but just semi auto.
They had a Colt rifle there, but it was $1300!!! Dang!!
I may take the Lorcin back and try to get a credit, they seemed really easy to work with.
Maybe I could take it to the local flea market, people there are always looking for guns and ammo.

I didn't know if you could get that into your favorite club.
I hate to admit it and I'll probably be banned for saying this but I also have a Lorcin .25 in my safe. My dad got it about 12 years ago for free when he signed up for a shooting membership at Don's Guns. I think he just buried it somewhere and it ended up giving it to me to store in my safe. He even had a little clip holster for it. Though I can barely hit the broad side of a barn with it I will say that it didn't jam on me when I ran a mag through it.

Something I have noticed on this site....a lot of folks fill in the lettering on their GAT with crayon....what is best the el cheapo brand from the Dollar store or actual Crayola crayons?
I think it says something about the owner when they customize the gun, make it unique.
I have made a lot of mods to my Civic and see the same type of pride in ownership in firearms on this site.
Very unique!! :)

Yeah, Hi-Point all the way. I hear that Jiminez uses MIM zinc. I can't abide MIM zinc components on my Gat. But that's just the way I roll. As they taught us in prep school, Pimping is not without effort, but it is a necessary endevour.

Those are toooo $$$ for my budget, nice though.
I think if I keep this Lorcin, I will stick to the UM brand.
I am still thinking about trading this in towards that Professional Ordinance gun.
That thing is wicked!! The lazer is cool. You don't even have to use the sites on it.
The ammo is $$$ though. It comes with some clips and maybe I can get them to throw in some wolf ammo too?

You're a funny guy, Gerard. If you decide to keep that fine pistol, don't bother with a holster, just disassemble it and keister the parts. Your Lorcin will be right at home there. And don't worry about ammo selection, since it will all work equally well in your pistol. :)

I have to disagree. Every piece needs a holster. Have you thought of trying cardboard? I made a custom holster IWB for my Glock 19 (not as good as Lorcin, but it shoots armor piercing Black Talons). I can recommend what kind of cardboard to use if you are interested.

No problem. I rented one at the range today. VERY impressive firearm. I will pick one up to replace my G19 very soon. The grip fit my hand like a 6 fingered glove, and I have 7 fingers. osiruscyn

you can use .357 bullets. That would actually be the best thing since the .380 is a little difficult to reload. The .357 penetrates better and has just a smidge more recoil than the .380 but it's worth it.
If you are looking for another gun still, An intra-tec might be a good investment. It has a very high capacity and is a little known secret in the law enforcement community as a great back up gun. I would venture to say that close to 80% of the police out there have at least one in their trunk. Here's a link to one up for sale on a gun website.
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=85145136
Not many people will tell you about these because they are not very well known and are highly regarded as prized firearms. Trying to find one for sale is tough because no one wants to let theirs go.
They don't have many holsters for it though. You could always use a sort of sling to carry it under your north face down jacket or something like that. Tucked under your arm, no one would know you have it. It's pretty compact.

Look bra, first off, I ain't no fairy!
Secondly, you might be right about the grips. I practiced pistol whipping beforehand and I think the grips came a little loose. BTW, does your range have pistol whipping targets? Min e doesn't and it kinda urks me.
Anyways, I left my screwdriver at home so tightening my grips just wasn't an option.
How far away were you shooting from? If your groups were better than mine, I am guessing 3-5 feet. You really can't compare your groups to mine, apples and oranges bra. Even with a flyer and loose grips I managed a pretty nice combat grouping, from the bullets that hit the target. I can shoot sub MOA with my black talons and and sureshot laser taped to the barrel.

"What about that little guy?"
"who, that little guy? I wouldn't worry about that little guy"
I got a Lorcin L380 for free, and that was too much to pay for it.
Pros:
It can be melted down and turned into a cool paperweight. Or recycled. All from your home!
Cons:
Gol, where to start?
It's made of a crappy zinc alloy. You know how pennies dissolve in Coke? The metal composition is somewhat similar. You could leave a Lorcin in a tub of Coke syrup, wait a couple months, and have Lorcin slurry.
It shoots (occasionally) the .380. A fine round in guns that weigh half as much and are twice as reliable.
It doesn't feed hollowpoints, softpoints, aluminum or steel-cased ammo. It doesn't feed jacketed hardball most of the time, but I'll give it credit for the 1/2 to 3/4 of the time it does feed hardball.
I'm more accurate with a bow and arrow.
When you disassemble it, firing pins (strikers?) go flying in a variety of directions. Not that it's worth cleaning, as it doesn't help it much.
The manual gives directions on how to do the following:
Load
Fire
Remove the safety from the frame. Great for literate gangsters who can follow directions, eh?
The magazine did an uncommanded disassembly-- when it fell on CARPET, while EMPTY.
The guns have been known to disassemble while firing. Knew a guy who gave himself a nice bruise on the cheek from where a Lorcin slide flew off the frame and clobbered him.
Frankly, if I got held up by a criminal with a Lorcin, I'd feel utterly confident in going after him bare-handed. If I were in a gunfight, it's the gun I'd want the other guy to have.
That is all. If you really paid $250 for one, take it back, and buy ANYTHING else. Spring an additional $100 for a Ruger, Kel-Tec, used Glock, FN, PPK, or anything on the shelf made out of steel or polymer. Heck, I just paid $350 OTD for a SIG P220.
Ok...who else has actually shot or owned a Lorcin? Tell us how it went if you can...
Sorry to admit it but I did. .380.got it from ye ole pawn shop brand new, can't remember what I paid for it but was worth every penny. Those other guys that shot those groups are lucky ,i could not get this P.O.Shi* to fire more than 4 rounds and it locked up tighter than a bull"s a** in fly season. I took it back to the pawn shop and they offered to replace it for free,I was nice to them because it was not there fault.I got my money back.
A little further down the line i also picked up a Raven .25 another great move for me:rofl:.at least it shot not too bad.Took it back to Montana one year and was with my Father in Law ( on the ranch) I managed to get a close up shot of a gopher and surprised the he** out of me ,shot him deader then dead.:faint: That was pure luck.

Tommorow is a range day for me. I think just for grins and giggles I'll take the Lorcin .25 I have buried in my safe and let you guys know how it goes. You could try some of those surplus L7 subgun +P+ loads in her. They say some guns experience slide separations though, so having the back end of that sweet G19 whizzing past your noggin at a trans-sonic velocity might, well get interesting let's say... just don't park your fly ride directly behind your lane, and you'll be aight.
Or, there's always my uncle Bill's RRBR (random range brass reloads). They have proven popular with those who can't decide between FMJ, JHP, LRN, 115 gr., 125 gr., 147, 105 grain, whatever. Uncle Bill just throws all them bullets in one bin & all the random brass in another, then mixes them around. He fills each case up with plenty of whatever powder's been sitting in a can in the back of the shed the longest, then starts rock chuckin out them reloads. Sometimes, just to check his quality control, he grabs a handful and wails away at the possums out back. Most of 'em go bang, and some go really bang.
As Uncle Bill sez..."Them's that ain't dead gets another till they is."
I have to disagree. Every piece needs a holster. Have you thought of trying cardboard? I made a custom holster IWB for my Glock 19 (not as good as Lorcin, but it shoots armor piercing Black Talons). I can recommend what kind of cardboard to use if you are interested.
Check it out, it conceals VERY well, with my puffed boxers...

Something must be wrong with mah internets, I keep getting an error message from mah e-mail, says Idumbsi*2@WTF.con server error 80085.
Anyways, don't worry about flooding mah e-mails up, I change accounts every week. After watching The Jason Boure Trilogy, I take precautions.
I think I can make a custom slide model that would accomodate both a 19 add a 22, it will take a few more cuts and maybe some reinforcement tape, maybe even a paper clip or 2 for added ridgidness. Do you want the boxer tucking attachment, or do you puff yours as well?
I am also offereing custom sharpie graphics. Color sharpie will cost a little more cause thems are like 45 cents more a pack at Office Max.
For the Sterling, I would recommend just pocket carrying it. Just make sure you cock in before you put it in yur pocket cause in a high stress situation your brain can only do on ething at once I read. So alls you will have to do is pull it out and shoot. If you really have your heart set on a holster for it, I can make you a limited edition custom heavy weight laser printer paper one. Im thinkin 65 lb, maybe off white or eggshell, satin finish.
If you want something alittle better than the Lorcin or the G19, I have a Glock 7 that I'll sell you.

I realize now I've been wasting my time with these other guns. Lorcins blow them all out of the water in terms of quality, reliability, and accuracy.
Lorcin. Who needs a firearm other than a Lorcin?
No need for a holster, though: I'll just tuck 'em inside my waistband.:tongueout:

When you disassemble it, firing pins (strikers?) go flying in a variety of directions. Not that it's worth cleaning, as it doesn't help it much.
The manual gives directions on how to do the following:
Load
Fire
Remove the safety from the frame. Great for literate gangsters who can follow directions, eh?
.
When I get asked how do you clean a Lorcin, Cobra, Hipoint, etc, its all I can do to keep from saying "You buy a new one".

Hunting the American Big Five w/ a Lorcin
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The phrase American Big Five game was coined by big-game hunters and refers to the five large mammals that were sought in the 'hood. The term is still used by most tourist and wildlife guides to discuss American intercity wildlife safaris.
The collection consists of the feathered pimp, the meth headed white mugger, the American card cheat, the angry cheating skank and the alpha male skid row slogger. The members of the big five were chosen for the difficulty in hunting them and not their size, which is why the angry cheating skank is on the list and the enormous hill billy is not.
The preferred firearm for the American Big Five is a Lorcin pistol of caliber no greater than .380 although many other guns including the indigenous zip-gun have been used to bag the American Big Five.
Many street dealers provide economical safaris and will guide the hunters to the right spots, generally near watering holes and watering ho's, between 1 and 3 am for best hunting is experience.

Kokoro, You obviously were limp wristing the Lorcin. You were anticipating what you thought was to be a massive amount of recoil. You need to hold it horizonal so you can "ride" the recoil to the next target.

As far as accessories for your g-19. you. dont need none. BUT be sure you buy the LIFE TIME warranty. remember this is a glock (or glook as my friend calls it) because unlike the surburb quality and reliability of the Lorcin, the glock is prone to break when it gets cold or melt if it gets hot ,You know they are of made of plastic. I heard Gaston bought up all of the old discarded credit cards and had the boys melt them down and waaa laaaaaa the glock was born.

OK, I think I can help out, but I will first say stick with the Lorcin, Glocks are known to explode.
Accesories: maybe a nice ballcap, I like Dodgers or Atlanta Braves. Get some new kicks with your gun too, so you can run good after bustin caps.
Lazers: I would look for the new "Mace Windu Purple laser" from Aimshot. It ataches directly to the trigger guard so it never looses zero.
Clips: Good, i am glad you got this right, most peole call em magazines, like what am I gonna read my bullets? pffffft. I would get atleast 30-40 clips, I carry mine it a tac vest under my Starter jacket.
Lube: Astroglide, hands down.

Make sure you get a saf-T-Block so you don't shoot yourself in the junk when you carry messican style.
I would get the crimson trace and a laser guide rod. It will put 2 dots on the person rather than one. That way they will think they have 2 guns pointing at them and be even more scurred.
As for clips, I would get nothing but the 33 rd clips. Anything less than 30 is not lethal enough. You gotta make sure you get the person you are aiming at and at least 10 of his homies.
As for lube, I like analese myself. It's not too slick yet provides enough long term lubrication.
Chrome is a ghetto faux paus. The black is the way to go. That way when you are running from the cops at night, it will be harder to see under bushes.
Sorry ,but I have to disagree with the above post on the color choice,Altho black is good -, what happens if when at night you are riding your scotter and it falls out of your custom built holster ((by soundwave ,sorry no flame intended, iam sure your product is nice.)) and hits the ground,if it was painted with a flouresant paint or even have one of those light stick things that light up when it is broke. you would be able to find it quicker. But just remember the ole saying ::: MAKE THE FIRST ON COUNT,BECAUSE WITH A GLOCK IT MAY NOT FIRE THE SECOND TIME.:drunk:

I have Glocks, Smith revolvers, Smith semi-autos, Kel-Tecs, a BHP, a Ruger .22, Colt revolvers, and a Taurus. I'm willing to trade them all for a battery of Lorcins.
I should be able to get three or four: one for my car, one for my home, one for carry, and possibly a fourth for spare.
I figure once I have enough Lorcins, I won't need anything else. All other guns are worthless compared to the mighty Lorcin. They are only good as trade-bait, so that I can get the better of ignorant people who will give the best guns on the market in return for Glock and S & W junk.
Lorcin. Everything else is a pale imitation.
When you have Lorcins, you need no other guns.
Lorcins are like potato chips, you cant just have one, you need the other ones for parts.
the girl ( if you cant trust a girl ,who can you trust?) at the gun store wanted to trade me a Lorcin for my 19,just about had me talked it to it ,but the Lorcin had loose grips and only black ones at that and I the wanted the pearl ones. Also diden't have the money to boot 275.00.:crying:

Well, if the girl has a "TRAMP STAMP", (you know the tattoo that sits just above her ass, above the missing panties)...She can be only be trusted to be able to suck start a Harley and save you from bleeding to death by using her piercings as sutures.
This kind of sex breezy CAN NOT be trusted when it comes to guns! Her old man in the can would cut her off from the conjugal visits to his cell block buddies if she shamed her man to not take advantage of a man like you.
Don't let that pretty bright blue eye shadow and lack of gag reflex sway you!
No Lorcin is worth trading a Glock for straight across. They would have to throw in a box of .380's to make it a good deal for you. Take caution!

I have a lot of good guns that I trust when the chips are down. I bought them all new and spent good money on them.
For the heck of it, I was on Gunbroker one night and bought a .22 Lorcin that was like new with the box, etc. I knew what I was buying but just wanted to own a "Saturday Night Special" just for the novelty of it. I paid $140.00 for it.
It shoots pretty accurate until the 2nd. round. It fails to eject sometimes, stovepipes, etc., practically does everything you want a gun not to do.
I just took it to my gunsmith to have him make it right, He said it would not cost too much and should shoot fine when he is through.
Anyway, I like the way it looks and feels. Even when it comes back fixed I would never carry it or rely on it completely.
I'll take it to the range sometime just for fun. It's cheap to shoot. But most times it will be just a "Closet Queen", only to show my gun friends what one of them looks like.
In the next few days I am off to a local firearm dealer to buy a Glock 36 to add to my collection. Will I carry it, you bet. Will I rely on it after a few hundred JHP's, surely. You get what you pay for.

When I brought it home, my Mom said it was made out of plastic and said I got robbed.
She liked the other one better, said it was not as fat and ugly like the 19.
She said I could keep it in the house as long as it was unloaded and the bullets locked up somewhere else.

As a responsible gun owner, you can use that gun for so much more than just impressin' yo ho's!
1. Low on cash? Get the "Glock discount" from your local gas station attendant next time you need to fill up yo' ride.
2. To hell with traffic jams, drive with yo' gat visible to other drivers and they'll always give you the right of way.
3. New year's eve, July 4th or labor day isn't complete without killin' the sky with yo' gat. Load up them clips and fire wildly into the air. The moon be askin' for a shower of bullets!
fo. You can impress more than just girls. What about gaining the respect of your local police? make sure you flash that thang at them so they know you're a real man now.

MFer!!

My Mom has hidden my G19!!
Said I owe some money, told her I need the gun so I can hit the pawn shop!
She won't give it back until I give her at least half of what I owe.
I am tired of this, I am going to get my own place when we get this hashed out.
When you walk into the pawn shop with the G19, be sure to walk in holding it in your hand without the box so you don't have to mess with getting it out of the box. Make sure the slide is down, it is easier to carry that way. Have a "clip" in it too, you will get a better deal on it.
This is especially true for going into a real gun shop.
She said I could have it for $100 since I was so charming.
The Charming thing was always my downfall

Maybe he could get a Lorcin for her.
Maybe he could get a Lorcin for her.
I might give him one for her he needs to post a picture. Depending I might even go as high as a Jennings, maybe even a high point or a raven
Anybody remember the .25 Titan by FIE?
I feel sorry for the poor boy ,seems like every way he turns ,he get kicked it the butt. If i weren't for bad luck ,he would have no luck at all. I think we should take up a collection and get him a nice cell (woooops I mean apt)
A pic of mom would help to see what poor ole Gerard has to put with.:whistling: OR maybe we could help him find her a boy friend.:dancingbanana: Or as stated get her a Lorcin of her own.

OK, I got the $$ for Moms....i like the idea of a new Moms.
Anyway, heading to the gun store first to see what I can get for it. If the $$ is not good enough I am heading to the pawn shop. They have some kickin' speakers that they demo'ed for me the other day....hmmmm.
Big news, I have decided to get a Glock 19. They have a used model that is 3rd ? generation, with night sites, case, mags, etc...
I get to use the $250 as a credit!!
What type of ammo would you guys recommend for practice and carry?
I passed on the Professional Ordinance thingie for now.
Dude! NO NO NO!! Don't get a G19. Don't you know that 1 out of 3 of those things will KB on the first box of ammo? I made the same mistake as you and traded in what I had for a 19. They call me "Lefty" now. Nuff said.

Dude I don't think pawn shops deal in used moms, you'll have to go underground for that transaction.

Well, I am going to take it to the range tomorrow since I am off for the week.
If I have problems with it, I have a warranty to fall back on.
Lorcin is a solid company, right?
The lady at the gun store said they sell a lot of them with 0 problems.
vafish, no, no troll here. I have seen enough of those jacklegs on my gamer sites. lol
Something tells me I should have come here first, but I was so excited with the purple grips on this one. I thought about getting 2, but I don't get paid until the end of the month and with a baby on the way $$$ is tight.
I had thought Lorcin went out of business.
I paid $200 OTD for the gat, $130 for the cilps.
Oh, by the way, my name is Gerard. :tongueout:
Kinda misse the Lorcin now, the chicks were impressed when I pulled it out.
Now they will probably think I am a narc or gang banger.
If the chicks are impressed when you pulled it out you should show it to the next Policeman you see, a lot of them carry Glocks he will probably be so excited he'll call some friends to see it.

Of course, the cop might take it from you. Most of them are forced to carry Glocks, but WANT to carry Lorcins.

why pawn the gun when you could trade some dude for it on the street for some speakers? He might even be nice enough to just leave the car alone so you can take what you want from it. Since he's not there, you might able to just take the gun too. You aren't thinking this through douchey douche.

Check out this Youtube video.
It is a great parody of Rudolph as Martin Sheen in Apocalypse Now called A Pack of Gifts Now.
Those who have seen Apocalypse Now will get it, doubt you ladies will get it.
