Will a 36 fit a 27 holster

I have a 27, and am thinking about getting a 36. I have many, many, way too many holsters. I know the 26/27 are the same size, but how about a 36 in these holsters? They are pretty close in size, and I wondered if anyone with a 26 or 27 used those holsters on a 36. thanks

I think (yes, it is possible :)) that the Uncle Mike's paddle I use for my G36 is actually made for a G26/27. So yes, it should work. I'll check tonight, if I think of it.

A G36 is closer in size to a G19/G23/G32 pistol.

I checked my holster (Uncle Mike's paddle), but I couldn't find a model number. Stamped on the inside it has a little "SZ-21", but I looked this up on their website (www.uncle-mikes.com (http://www.uncle-mikes.com/)) and that didn't return any matches.

I'm pretty sure it was for the 26/27, though. These holsters are sold all over the place, so it shouldn't be hard to find one to try.

Provisionally, the answer is yes. I have a Predator Kydex IWB for both my G19 and G26. The 26 holster fits, but the 19 holster fits better.

Yes, I work in a gun shop, I also own a 23. I've tried many, many, many holsters just to see. The galco, fobus, and bladetech holsters all work. The 36 fits in all of the 26/27/29/23 holsters, provided the muzzle end is open. Hope this helps.

My 36 won't fit into my 26 Don Hume ankle rig. It technically fits, but I can't get the strap snapped. It also doesn't want to fit in my Blade-Tech Belt Holster, but fits fine in my IWB Blade-Tech. I suspect if I loosened the retaining screws on the belt holster it would work fine also.
