You will like the 36 i carried it all day yesterday shopping with the wife and in car for over a hour both ways and hardly knew it was there i carry in a c-tac.

I joined the club recently and now Im concerned about the feeding issues that Im reading about. So Ill continue using my XD sub-compact .40 as my CCW

I have the +1 extensions and they are great.. no issues at all.

I have had no feeding issues with my used G36 - FMJs or Remington economy JHPs or Corbon PowerBall. Have never had a genuine FTF without prior stovepipe FTE, and only about once every 400 rounds or so do I get a stovepipe FTE. But I can attribute that to limpwristing from fatigue or inattention. Ran a 20 round box of Hornady 230 grain TAP hollowpoints through today without a problem.

As for the Pearce +1: I have four of them with standard mag springs. I like them, but notice that they sometimes make racking in the first round a little bit tougher. But if one carries condition one, then it should not be a life-or-death problem. If, God forbid, you run your first mag dry and have to reload, you can use your slide lock lever to chamber the first round of the second mag, whether it be a Pearce +1 mag or a stock 6-rounder.

My advice is to have some of both and to practice lots with both types.

Dont worry about the feeding issues,I have had none in over 2000 rounds in each of my 2 G-36s. I had two fte when number 2 was new but that was junk reload ammo,so carry to your hearts content, the g-36 will be ready if you ever need it.

Don't mean to waylay thread, but I have a question for celticstar97. My only Glock is a G36, and I notice that you own a G34. I am interested in that model as my next. What can you tell me?
