View Full Version : RRA or Bushy comp.trigger?
Alright, I've finally decided that I need a better trigger after a trip to the range last night with my Bushy M4A3. It has a heavy factory pull trigger and is gritty as hell. Both are seriously affecting accuracy so I'm looking at either the RRA two stage or the Bushmaster competition trigger both of which run around $120 or so. I realize there are better triggers that cost more but I don't really want to spend any more than $120. Does anyone have experience with both? Not sure if the Bushmaster would work better and be more reliable since it is a BM. Both look to be fairly simple to install which is also a necessity. Thoughts would be appreciated.
I haven't used the Bushy trigger but I have two of the RRA NM 2-stage triggers in my rifles and I love them. One trigger came as part of a complete rifle I bought and the other I installed myself in a build.
The RRA trigger is very easy to install. It will fit any spec lower so it should work just fine in your Bushy.
You can get the RRA trigger for $88 shipped from Pete at http://ar15sales.com. At least that was the price last month when I bought mine. Pete ships it out the day you order, I received mine 2 days after ordering.

i vote for the RRA. i havent used the bushy, but i cant imagine it could beat what i have now.
I have a RR in my Bushy. Works great. Get them from Pete in the above link and save some cash. I just ordered an ArmaLite LPK w/ 2 stage Tac Trigger that I want to try out. It was on sale for $120 for the whole LPK & trigger. I was going to order another RR but decided to give this a try, as I needed a LPK anyway for a ArmaLite M15A4(T) upper.

Just about every RRA parts dealer sells this trigger for 100 or less. They just cant advertise it for that because of RRA's ridiculus policy.

RRA. Check with http://www.adcofirearms.com
I have one of each. The Bushy 2 stage trigger won't always set off mil-surp ammo on the first hit. Sometimes it takes a second try. I have never had the Rock River 2 stage not fire mil-surp ammo on the first hit. With reloads, I've never had a problem with either trigger firing.
Other than that, they both seem to have a nice 2 stage pull.
