Glock does not advertise "Drop Free" magazines. Older magazines are NFML (non fully metal lined) while current mags are FML (Fully metal lined). The NFML mags have not been made in over 13 years and have a "U" shaped notch on the back. FML mags have a "\__/" shaped notch. NFML mags have metal on three sides and are designed to swell slightly when fully loaded.
