View Full Version : Speedloaders for S&W 17 10-shot?
Does anyone know if HKS or anyone else makes a speedloader for the 10-shot S&W 17 .22 revolvers? Have a chance to buy one and will use it for Action Pistol matches if I do. Would need a way to load quickly, though. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. Tony

I looked around the net for you but could find no info on it, you might try conatacting HKS direct at thier 1-800-354-9814 Phone Number and asking.
Post the info back here of they make one.
Thanks, Westicle. I thought when these revolvers first came out, the article mentioned speedloaders. I did call HKS but they said they have never made one for the 10-shot revolvers. Thanks again for looking. If anyone has any info about a possible manufacturer for the 10-shot speedloaders, please post. Thank you. Tony
I purchased speed loaders for a six shot model 17. As it turned out they were not speedy at all.
The rounds didn't drop in easily and each one had to be thumbed into place.

They do make them for the Taurus 9-shot series, but not for the Smith. Alellis has a point. Many .22s simply do not drop flush into the chambers w/o having to be nudged home by hand. On one of mine, this becomes quite aggravating after a few cylinders worth of crud has built up.
