I'm not trying to be negative but lets not forget repeal of the restaurants ban on concealed carry either.

We've got our work cut out for us this year and the next few years. The gun control nitwits and local politicians here in Northern Virginia are screaming for repeal of preemption and more gun bans.

Something else not to forget. Our beloved governor is showing his stripes. Look for some battles over the "gunshow loophole." Gosh! How much longer till the end of this dope's term?

Do you mean CCW on College Campuses and Castle Doctrine?

My understanding is that case law pretty much support Castle Doctrine anyways.

I really don't care about Lifetime permits. $50 for 5 years works out to about 3 cents per day for a permit. I can afford that.

I do strongly support College Campus carry for those who have a CHP.

But I Alien Glocker, the restaurant ban is the most important thing to get rid of.

And since my district voted for Bobby Mathieson, who is against repealing the restaurant ban, it's going to be that much more difficult.

He told me to my face that he was against it but when I told him that I could legally open carry in the same restaurant he got a surprised and puzzled look on his face. These morons run on issues they know nothing about.

I fear our general CCW permits may be a target of the anti gun lobby in Virginia. We are going to have to work real hard to keep the freedoms we now have.
