I am trying to find out what ammo your 31 shoots the best with. I have tried the S&B, and mine does not like it at all. In fact, with this ammo, it is the most inaccurate pistol I have. I have had all the Glocks, I am looking for the right formula. Does any of the full metal case and hollow points work well in yours?

I practice with Blazers from Natchez (http://www.natchezss.com) and keep it loaded with 125gr Cor-bon. No complaints about accuracy here. :D

I use the Canned Heat from http://www.georgia-arms.com/ . I have found these to be extremely accurate and very reliable. I carry gold dots and have never had a problem with those either. I actually found the canned heat to be more accurate then the gold dots. When I shoot gold dots they are a little high for some reason.

For what it is worth I too have found Canned Heat .357SIG from Georgia Arms to be very accurate and reliable in my Sig 229 and 239.

I should have added that I do not own or use a Glock .357SIG caliber at this time but am buying a barrel to convert one of my Glock23s. I love my Glocks and I do well when shooting the caliber. I too have trouble finding ammunition at the dealers, which is why I turned to Georgia Arms to meet my needs. Now if I can only find a reliable woman as easily, I would be really pleased.

I usually shoot reloads but for carry ammo I like Federal Premium. Next to no flash, has a softer hit and patterns nicely. Yet to have one to FTF. Also use Gold Dots for carry.

It shoots really well and is very accurate. I like Gold Dots for the serious side. Hope this helps. Matt

I'll second that. Federal is a nice load. Shoot Federal at night, then try Speer. Federal has much less flash. Also seems to have less percived recoil that Speer practice loads.

I also used canned heat from georgiaarms.com. For 1000 rounds it was only 162.90 delivered.

The ammo can I recieved had a sticker that said 'factory loaded'. It was all very clean, nickel plated Winchester.

I would order from them again. FWIW.

I use Hornady XTP, factory and handloads, and love it. I have not measured groups yet in my G-31 but in my G-33, with a Federal Arms ported barrel, I can get 1.5"-2" groups at 25 yards. I use 124 grain and 147 grain. The lighter bullet I use in my G-33 for less recoil and more velocity. I use the 147 grain for reloading because it has a boat tail, which makes it easier to reload. Other than that I have had good luck with S&B 140 grain FMJ.

And it averaged 1385 fps. I was expecting it to be about 50 fps faster, but some barrels are slower than others. YMMV

My G32C is only a week in my possesion, but I've got a few opinions.

The Winchester USA ammo for it shoots pretty poorly. I can't seem to get the groups down under 2" at 10 yards.

I have shot 50 rounds of Remington 125 JHP. They have been much better. Consistant 1-1.5" groups at 10 yards.

For factory ammo, the Georgia Arms Canned Heat is the most accurate plinking load for me.

The most accurate 357 Sig ammo for me, though, are my own reloads:

124 grain Berry's TCJ-FP bullet
8.3 grains Alliant Power Pistol (+ / - 0.2 grains)
COAL = 1.135"
Any standard small pistol primer
Crimp to 0.377"

From a benchrest, it's a real tack driver.

Georgia Arms ammo is perfectly fine, but I just don't like having to buy that much ammo at one time, and that if I reuse my own brass, I can load 1000 rounds of 357 Sig ammo for about 75 bucks.

What I chronographed is GA Shear Power Plus, not canned heat. Are canned heat loaded in new cases, or used? If they are used, are they once fired, or pot luck ?
