Just bought a 91/30, and it came with a bag of goodies, including the sling and cartridge pouches and a few pieces of hardware. But there was one thing in the bag that I can't seem to identify. It's a little 2-chambered metal container.

Anyone know what it is or what it's for? :headscratch:
I am guessing oiler. One side is probably for solvent and the other for oil.
I can not figure out how to use the cleaning rod attachments that came with my M44. Not like it matters, I would never use them anyways.

Neat. I use Breakfree CLP and Mobil 1 on all my weapons anyway, but it's neat to have some of the goodies that come with a rifle...

They're handy to carry with you on picnics too. Catsup in one side & mustard in the other. :homer:

I have a great tip for cleaning cosmo out of the oiler bottle and the other accessories.
Grab a cheap pan and just boil them in water on the stove.....reach in with barb-q tongs and pull them out.....the cosmo will just run out of them. A few dips and rinses.....clean as a whistle.

just pour some gas in there and shake it real good with a finger over the hole and it will dissolve it real good
