View Full Version : Arsenal SLR 107 CR...worth it?
Ok everyone I have built up the gun fund and am looking to purchase a folding stock AK of some sort. I own several Vepr's and a Arsenal SLR-95 (converted stock set). I am torn between purchasing the 107CR for 800+ or find something cheaper (Hungarian or Polish maybe) and get an Ultimak and Optic for it. Opinions.......?

An AK is an AK but if you are a "Quality Whore" the fit and finish of the Arsenal is about the best.
I will never spend over $600 on an AK ever again. I bought my SLR-106U and that's enough, only rebuilt kits, or inexpensive models from here on out. Seriously, get yourself a nice yugo, polish, or whatever AK and spend what you saved on mags and ammo.

Was not sure about the looks of the 107CR when it first came out.
But it has a look that kind of grows on you. I Like It.
