Every first and third Monday evenings in Colorado Springs Whispering Pines Gun Club put on a 2-3 stage IPSC match.

The first match of the month usually includes a USPSA Classifier.

The second match of the month is geared more towards the tactical shooter but not quite IDPA. We shoot one stage with all the lights on. Stage two, we turn them down quite a bit. Not enough to require a flashlight or night sights, but low.

When there is time, we try to put on a third stage. We try to have everyone out of there by 9:15.

Sign-up starts at 6:30 and the shooting starts at 7:00.

I am the new club president and GT member rtr is the VP.

If you want on the WPGC Match mailing list, send me an email at WPGCResultsREMOVE@juno.com and tell me to add you. This list includes announcements and results.

See you out there.

man that sounds like fun. Why does all the cool stuff have to be in Pueblo or the springs?

Probably because the only people man enough (cept for you and wfsorge) to try it live down this way... Kidding.

There is lots of IPSC and steel shooting in Ft Collins, and IPSC in Denver.

I do the IDPA style matches at the Owl Canyon club, and enjoy it. But I'd love to do some stuff indoors too.

This past match was a lot of fun, if you're able to make it it's definitely worth it.

If you have any questions feel free to pm me or Hozer.

Boulder Rifle Club does a match every month. I can't remember if its IPSC or IDPA........ but it's indoors, or most of it is!

The Boulder club does rifle matches on the second Sundays and when there is a 5th Sunday its an IPSC match.

They also run defensive pistol matches there on some Friday nights. Not IDPA and not IPSC. I actually have no clue what it is as I have never shot one. I have an aversion to matches where I dont know the rules going in...

Schedule info is avail at http://ecouspsa.com/schedule08.htm

Guess I am going to have to see about a trip south for some indoor fun.

Until I am independently wealthy and can open an indoor range up north :whistling: :wavey:
