These guys carry my two favorite mags and at great prices.
USGI aluminum D&H teflon coated mags and Magpul PMAG's. I recommend you get some of each and decide for yourself which ones you like better.
I'm pretty sold on the pmags.
I like 44mag.com order over $100 and you get free shipping

I would second the D+H mags. I have 20 of these so far (gray) and they have been excellent. Good price (buy the 10 pack) for some great mags. I have not tried the PMags yet so I cannot comment on those.
BravoCo is a great company to order from as well, order with confidence from them.

I ordered mine from Bravocompanyusa.com, and then I kept spending more to get the free shipping. So my 100 dollar order turned into a 350 dollar order.

thanks for all the help. i think im gonna get a couple of each and try them all out and go from there. next question... ive seen those "brackets" that hold two mags together. are they worth it or are they a hinderance? thanks for the help.

I don't like them. I find they put to much bulk on the receiver IMO.

I got mags from this place: http://www.northwest-tactical.com/category.sc?categoryId=35
Basic teflon-coated USGI mags, $13.50 a pop, and free shipping. Great company from my experience.
Any USGI spec mag such as the D/H. Others are simply an answer to a problem that doesnt exist imo.
I ordered the black teflon coated 10 pack from Bravocompany and they work great, they also sent me a free charging handle and gas tube with my order. I also just got 10 p-mags from brownells and tried them out this morning in my RRA carbine they worked flawlessly. If you are law enforcement , or military you can get p-mags at brownells for 11.97.

I have a couple Mag CINCH dual magazine holders and ended up taking them off.

GI mags are cheap and good. PMags are not as cheap, but tougher and still good.

I bought my Arsenal SLR-106FR from them. They were GREAT to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to buy anything from them.
