I'm building up a few Stag carbines. I'm looking for a good, no modifications, rail. I'm looking at YHM, MI and Troy MRF-DI (and any others you guys can suggest). The only one of the 3 manufactures I've had/have gear from is Troy.
Price is important as I need more than one. Quality is also very important.
I don't like the Daniel Defense Omega rail. It's out of the budget constraints for these anyway.
Suggestions...

Is there a reason you don't like the DD Omega rail, beside budget constraint?
If you wanted a no mod, drop-in, free float, and solid, rail system, you can't go wrong the the Omega.
But, for budet-constrained, non-free float, no mod, drop-ins, the 3 you mention would serve you well. Personally, I would go with either Troy, or MI. Just personal preference.

MI rails are very high quality. Good bang for the buck.

Between those, I would go MI.
I went with MI and have no regrets.
I have YHM rails. If you are into looks go with DD. If you are into function, at a lesser cost, go with YHM.

You can free float on the cheap with MI if you are building them just eave the delta ring and spring off.
