this is my 66 and my uncles roush 427R stage III in front of our union hall, unfortunately the 427R doesn't really have a 427, but it still hauls ass.

I think they are supposed to have "427" net horsepower.

Probobly a supercharged 4.6L.

Thanks Bob; Yea, there are a lot of us people who believe that the 69 Mach 1 is the best looking muscle car ever. I bought it from the original owner in 77 when I was in college and no one wanted muscle cars because of the gas crunch. I sold it in 1980 to pay for my last year of school. I bought the same car back in 1989 from a guy who had planned to restore it. It was in pieces when I bought it the second time. The guy had disassembled everything. I actually had to go to 3 different places to pick up all the parts. Anyway I'm the 2nd and the 6th owner of it. I used to show it all the time but am just too busy to fool with it too much. I guess once I retire from work I'll get into it again

What is the purpose of that line going from the throttle body to the oil filler neck?

SKYWLKR

Heh,

Nothing, it's loose (on what used to pass EGR coolant water)and just allows the crankcase to vent and suck filtered air...

I dont like the filter caps so i just run the other end to something to make it complete looking.

Nice looking GT40 intake. Brake fluid looks pretty dark! Needs a flushing!

What trans/gears?

Brake fluid was Fresh ATE super Blue. The reservoir has always been like that.

I just use a to atmosphere Crankcase vent system.

Gears are 3:73's but I need to go to 3:55's or 3:27's, it is running out of gear in the top end.
Tranny is a 3550.

Here are some pics of my Fox although it is not done yet.

It has taken years to get here as it was totally restored inside and out from top to bottom.

There are no extra holes in the engine compartment and the engine is new and painted as well.

The wiring harness is new and the wires in the engine compartment have been hidden as well.

The brakes and suspension have been upgraded and the interior is 80-90% new and the rims are aftermarket 17" pony's to keep the appearance of "low key/sleeper"

The car has not yet been wet sanded or buffed and it has about two gallons of clear on it.

The only badging will be the running pony in the Cobra grill and the antenna was shaved as well.

Although it appears as there is a dent in the hood it is an optical illusion.

I would like to know what you think of it????? :salute:

OUSooner,

Bassani's sound great, but with an o/r X pipe and headers that thing must be insanely LOUD!

Might not be so bad with stock 3.27 gears though. 3.73's or 3.90's would be a good choice for your GT. But it would be real loud on the interstate.
