View Full Version : Advantage Arms, .22LR conversion - Is there interest?
I wonder if we were to bug Advantage Arms, would they make a kit for the G36?
I asked them 3-4 years ago and their response was that they plan to in a years time. Then about a year ago I asked again and they said they have no plans for that, because of the difference in slide dimensions.

i would like one and if i could get a slide and stuff that worked on my 36 i would make mag or 2 as i hear that its more about the mag not interchanging and not ther slide
other then that im keeping my eye open for a 19 that i can get the kit for so i would have .22 9mm and .45 with just 2 pistols
So a slide from another model might fit the G36? I think the magazines would be easy to modify with some light sanding, and depending on the variance in mag release it may need slight alteration to that part of the mag.
If the G36 conversion is a pipe dream, my plan was to buy a G26/G19 and a kit.
The G26 would make a nice .22LR, especially suppressed.
