AR mag question.

I have a Bushmaster rifle and have found some Colt pre ban magazines for sale. My question is will the Colt mags work ok in the Bushmaster rifle? I don't want to put a lot of money into these mags and have them not fit the rifle. I am sorry if this is rudimentary I just knew I could get a quick answer from you guys.
