I will be taking the family to Disney World in a few weeks and have a couple of questions. I have both a SC and a FL conceal weapon permit … Are the rest areas off limits to conceal carry? What about the welcome center? Unless something has changed I understand that I can carry at all of the theme parks and in restaurants that sell alcohol as long as I stay out of the bar area, is that correct? Anything else I should know about?

Fine to carry in those places

Exactly. Keep your gun on your person-they look in packs.

Be aware that Disney will discourage you from being armed. They check ALL bags, but have no metal detectors and do mnot check people. If they find you are armed the will ask you to put it in your car or leave the property.

If she'd had a license (which she didn't), they would have had no grounds to arrest her. They could have asked her to leave, and charged her with Armed Criminal Trespass if she didn't, but that's about it.
