Recoil Spring Assy. No. CHECK

I have G31 and the number on Recoil Spring Assy. is 5579.

shouldn't it be 1533 (http://www.glockmeister.com/partref2.html)??

At glockmeister I can't even find any Recoil Spring Assemley with that Number - 5579.

Production date of the gun in Q is 11/98 (serial number check).


Any input will be greatly appreciated .
But anyhow the pistol works like a charm.

OK, this will confuse everyone...

1. my G31 rods have 5579 on them.
2. the order number is 5533 in my manual.

I think one is the assembly and one is just the rod.

The same thing happens on the ejectors; the ejector numbers are different from the trigger housing assembly; they are ordered as a set however.

This is my take on it. YMMV

Good thing there are only 34 parts.;g

P.S. I just checked my G19 recoil rods and that number does not match the order number either.

P.S.S I am happy to report that my extra G33 and G29 rods have no numbers...therefore I will not be further confused...;e
