Is that a good price?? I have a Bushmaster that I have not shot in a few years and will be taking some friends out for a little 'magnum threapy' tomorrow. I went down to our little surplus store here in Bend and bought some without doing any price research. It shoots the Wolf fine btw.

Sickening isn't it? To make things worse, I was told the price is going up after the first of the year :frown:

The only trouble with that stuff is that you had better be prepared to wait three months to get it.

That is why every gun owner should have at least 1k sealed up at home.
That way you have is when you need it.

Indeed, these days it is wise to order a couple months in advance. Either that or do without. I was merely pointing out the fact that anyone who orders this stuff needs to be prepared to wait a while.

good option but my reloading rule is: If the weapon throws it, I don't reload it. As such i only reload .357 & 44mag. My .223 and .45acp is Wolf poly

Just 4 years ago, I used to pay $180 for 1,000 rounds of Lake City M193:crying: I mean :steamed:

That's a shame. I reload .223 for 15¢/rd ($150/1000rds). 45 Auto cost me 4¢/rd ($40/1000rds).

I've been thinking of getting into reloading. I just found someone to teach me so I don't blow myself up.

I ordered a case from SG last nite. I got the shipping notification this morning. I was surprised, but happy.

The price is right, did you find it difficult to learn to reload?

Nope. Some hooker on the corner showed me how. Changed me forever.

Last time I ordered ammo from sportsmansguide, I paid closer to $150 per thousand, but I didn't miss out on my three month wait.

I tried to reload once but some insurance salesman on the reloading forum talked me out of it. I think his name was Steve Cosco or something like that.

If you can read and follow directions, you can reload. It's not rocket science
