Yes you read it right... FREE FOOD!
Cabelas in Hammond, Indiana is having a customer appreciation breakfast Sunday Morning Dec 16th. Free Biscuits and gravy, coffee and juice.
The wife and I will be there and open carrying, hopefully with others.
They open at 10am and that when we plan to be there!
Well that is kind of a haul for me, but thanks for the heads up. I can't wait for the Cabela's in Greenwood to be built/open.

Long haul for me, too. It looks like I'd need a snowmobile, too, @ this point!

Man, I wish I would have read this earlier. I drove passed there at 10:00 Sunday on my way to Bass Pro Shop, I would have joined you guys. I was up that way for my work Christmas party. Also to see my parents. I grew up in Merrillville if anyone know where that is.

FWIW I was late (made it just after 11) due to many issues including snow, lol.
I didn't see anyone else OC'ing, so I think I was the only one. Lots of people were coming from the east or south and thats where the heavier snow was.
We'll have to try again!

Prometheus77 ... if you ever make it down to central Indiana, there will be people who will open carry with you!

You guys seem to have a great group down there. Eventually I'll have to make it down... I've been here 5 years and still haven't been to a Indy gun show yet :crying:
One of these days the NW Indiana crew will get together... I just know it!

Some of us (i.e. me) are afraid to visit your neck of the woods. In Lake County, my idea of "open carry" is a molle plate carrier with Level III plates, 6-12 30rd mags, a helmet, and my AR loaded and slung across my chest. :D

Thanks for the invite!
Unfortunately, I'll be shooting that morning (IDPA at North Porter County Conservation Club).

Yeah, I noticed that after I'd posted and forgot to edit that out.
There should be rules about posting with a fever. hehehe
