Hey guys I have a question for you. I keep reading about the unattainable accuracy issues regarding .40 cal Glocks, so that got me thinking that perhaps I could free float and possibly glass bed my G23 and G35. What do you guys think? Anyone who might like to share some experience, that would be greatly appreciated. I'd hate to think my .40's might be inaccurate.
I've got a ghost rocket 2.5 connector, KKM barrel, Moly bullets, hand loads (180 gr TC Masterblasters/VV powder/fed primers and with a lot of luck I can hit a silhoutte pig out to 100 yards 5x out of 10, double handed, standing. I'd say thats plenty accurate. I'm pretty sure I couldn't do that with my 23. I think groups at 25 yds would be closer to 2-3".

I don't have enough experience shooting Glock 9's to say that they are more/less accurate than a comparable 40. I did once shoot some unbelievable groups out of a G19, the kind of groups I could not regularly produce from my 23.
The Glock 9's may have an edge in the accuracy department, I'm not sure. However, my 40s are accurate enough to hit a 6" steel target at 30 yards all day long, freestyle. I think that's probably accurate enough for most purposes.

My G35 is more accurate than me. As most guns are actually more accurate than the shooter. But I sure would like to see how you go about glass bedding and free floating that G23. Reckon you could post a detailed post with pictures on it? :)

Hmmm, thanks guys. I must've ran out of epoxy so I'm gonna try and figure something out using rubber bands and masking tape.

Accuracy is in the hands of the shooter, not caliber.
What I've noticed is that you should allow the Glock to flip in order to hit the target. I always use the death grip and realize how bad accuracy results.
Just my thoughts.

Ammo is a big issue with accuracy.

You don't free float or glass bead a glock pistol. Stock glock .40 pistols are pleanty accurate for self defense especially at self defense distances. I have not read about these unattainable accuracy issues regarding the .40 cartidge. Where did you find this info? please post it as I would like to read it.
From my experiences, the weak link in the accuracy equation with the glock pistol is usually the shooter.
i can put 5 rounds in a sub 1in groupe at 25 yards with my glock 17 and stock barell.

I have a free floated glass bedded glock 7. It can go through airport security and costs more than you make in a month.

Friggin' awesome Koski. The Glock 7 is where it's at, too bad they stopped the glass bedding and free floating. Ah well, perhaps a good deep-frying will do the trick.

I can put 11 rds. into a 1 1/2" group at 150 yards with my 27. I have a LAZERMAX though. And a smooth trigger.

I shoot ten different Glocks in 9mm, .40 S&W, 10mm, & .45 ACP at short and long range on a regular basis. They all be very accurate,to the point where on a good steady day it's "scary." There are no accuracy issues with Glocks.
