I recently emailed the mall in Bowling Green and asked their policy on CCDW. Below is the response. Please let them know your feelings as you see fit.

Mrs. Olson,
I thank you for your information regarding Greenwood Malls weapons policy.
I urge you to reconsider your position on not allowing firearms on mall
property. As a legal concealed carry permit holder I have undergone a
background check by the State Police, I have taken a course and demonstrated
that I can safely and skillfully handle a firearm. While I am sure you
consider security measures adequate for most situations you have knowledge
that I do not. You are simply asking me to trust that you have taken the
correct measures. When it comes to the safety of my family I can't trust it
to others.
I'm sure the mall in Omaha, Virginia Tech., Columbine and a host of other
gun free zones "thought" they had adequate security measures. In actuality
the only persons who will honor your "no weapons allowed" policy are law
abiding citizens such as myself. Until the point and time you learn that
legal CCDW persons are not a threat only to criminals I will be forced to
spend my money elsewhere.
Thanks for your consideration.

I am in receipt of your email below regarding security here at the
Greenwood Mall and would like to take this opportunity to respond to
your inquiry. The safety and well being of our shoppers and mall
employees has always been our number one priority. Recent events only
reinforce the importance of this priority. While I cannot discuss the
actual security measures we have in place at the mall, due to the risk
of compromising our efforts, I can assure you that we do have a
customized security plan in place. We also have a well trained security
staff as well as a close relationship with our local police department.
We understand that it would be impossible for any public establishment
to prevent all threats, but we do our best to minimize what we can and
to be prepared for the rest.
Regarding our weapons policy, we do not allow weapons (including
firearms) on mall property.
We truly appreciate receiving customer comments / concerns.
Thank you,
Heidi Olson, CSM | General Manager | Greenwood Mall | 2625

have at Greenwood and what is your policy on concealed weapons carry by
liscensed individuals?
Thanks for the information.
