Hi all.
Last Monday I bought three NHMTG 30-round mags with green followers. But before they left the shop I had the followers replaced with Mag-Puls. Now I have three unused green followers. My question is, can they be used in my three straight 20-round mags?
Thanks!

You don't need anti-tilt followers in the straight bodied 20's. Stick with the alloy follower.

I screwed up a perfectly good Colt 20 round mag trying to get the alloy follower out. Don't try it!

Thanks a lot for the advice. Here, everybody swears by Mag-Pul followers, so I'll just put them away for a while as I got all the Mag-Pul followers I need.

Mag-Pul followers are the cat's meow,..... for the thirty round mags.
I pefer the 20 round straight mags, do lots of prone shooting. The standard followers in the straight 20 round mags are hard to beat.

Yes you can. I replaced all the followers in my 20's when they started to fail to hold the bolt back after the last round. After a while the alloy follower gets chewed up and they need to be replaced. All you have to do is cut the follower off about 1/4 of an inch below the hole for the spring. They aren't that hard to change .

Again, thanks for your input. I do have some black followers pulled out of other 30-rounders that may fit, and reserve the green ones for the unlikely event that I run out of MagPuls...
There's something about a straight 20-rounder in a 20-inch skinny-barrel AR like mine that makes it somewhat, like, cool... apart from its practicality at the bench.
Anyway it wears the 20-rounder when it's inside the case; the DoskoSport it gets lugged in is too narrow for a 30-rounder. Yes, except when on a plane, condition three, just in case...
