"futureweapons whispering bald dude" That got my day started with a laugh. Thanks
I don't think people hate him, he's got significant operational credentials from what I understand. I think people get annoyed with the overly dramatic speech and some of the overly hyped program material. Don

He is a drama queen. I watch the show with the TV on mute.

I saw this show. The weapon's design is pretty crude...but I'll take one. These things are awesome. A non-recoiling 12 gauge...it doesn't get much better than this!

Very nice!
Could just imagine the price tag on one of those! =)

i HIGHLY doubt this.
Shhhhhh.......don't want everyone else to know.

Sheesh. I'd love to have seen what a platoon of Marines in Fallujah could have done if they'd been issued a few AA-12s.
This would be the ultimate SHTF weapon.

I don't think it would be wise to call him a "queen".
I like the idea of a fully auto shotgun. I am guessing that the no recoild is BS. You can delay the recoil. You can difuse the recoil. But if there was a way to remove the recoil, the guys shooting competition would be all over it.
If I was allowed a full auto shotgun, I think I would go with the Saiga design, or maybe just a Benelli.

I'm still trying to figure out why it's rated as "mature content". Cause there's guns involved? Oh jeez... might as well be Satan worship!!!

I don't hate him, he is all hype... but at least he knows how to shoot... and they show guns.
It's just a TV show.

I don't hate him either, he is probably a cool guy to have a beer with. He has a Stellar resume with the Navy Seals, its just he is not ready for prime time. He is so overdramatic on that show. He needs a big ol' Lighten Up Francis and maybe some TV communications and speech classes.
That Shotgun is freakin awesome !!!!

This freeze frame is sweet. (To me at least)

God Bless ol' Max Atchisson. He lost a pantload of money on this gun. Had it ripped off by two companies. The current company claims they own the rights, but his widow says otherwise. BTW, this is not new, it was first demonstrated by Max in 1980. Nice gun, easy to strip and clean. Max used to demonstrate it by filling a 20rd drum with a wide mix of loads. High-brass Slugs to low-brass birdshot, it fed and fired them all without any problems or adjustments.

:) Richard Machowitz ain't all that bad a guy - A bit of a ham, perhaps, but also a very good shot. That AA-12 shotgun is one of the most awesome handheld weapons I've ever seen.
Electronically controlled high tech rounds aside, it IS the most awesome handheld weapon I've ever seen. The only thing it can't do well is hit with extreme precision.
Definitely something to be kept out of the hands of the dirty unwashed masses. An awesome landmark weapon that is right up there with the Thompson submachinegun and Stoner's M-16!
Absolutely awesome!
(That's four, 'awesomes'!)

You pretty much nailed the way I feel. The show is eye candy for men (now only if they had a bunch of hot chicks, then it would be perfect ;) ). I take what they present with a grain of salt and just watch the fireworks. The host is a little irritating in the way he talks and acts, but oh well. He proved he is a good shot on the episode where he was shooting the Chaytac at over 2000 yards (shooting mountain to mountain).

What kind of limp-wristed artard marks that clip as mature/adult?

Your right... He calls it "low recoil" but it looks to be pretty light.

Hell hand that design to Hi-Point and they will be making them for $179. Really it looked very Hi-Pointish. Nothing at all is wrong with that, just my first thought.
I watch the show sometimes. He is a little bit over dramatic (makes it seem like every weapon he handles invincible) but it is still fun to watch.

It's amazing to see the sights flex during recoil on the 6.8 PDW, there's more movement there than an AK-47's barrel.
I still like the show, even with the host seeming to whisper to the camera, as it is an entertaining show, and largely about firearms.

I missed this thread back in December. MY WIFE showed me the video. She saw it mentioned on her WOW clan forum. Sheesh. This deserves a BTT!
I wonder if they make a semi-auto version for mere mortals to own...
