Over on the Caliber Corner, Andy Stanford says the 9mm is the "only" caliber suitable for Glocks. What I want to know is how soon you Big Dogs are selling your 45s and where are you going to find people stupid enough to buy them?

Sure, I'll sell my 30 to you for $1,000 -- then I can buy another 30 and also a 19 (the 30 is always asking for a little puppy to play with ;N ).

Isn't that what the ignore list is for?:o

I love my G-21 BUT I gotta admit my absolute favorite Glock is my 19

Andy and I had a conversation not too long ago about this very thing when I did some training with him, and needless to say we disagreed. While I have a couple 45's and on occassion carry them, I prefer my 19 for day to day carry. I can hold more rounds, its lighter, the recoil is not as much which leads to greater accuracy and so forth. While a 45 has more kinetic energy behind each round, the 9mm has the velocity and hence the expansion. One should carry the round that works best for them. :)

It would help because I couldn't find it. Even a title to the thread would be of some help.

Based on your choice for carry, why did you disagree with him?

I don't know, he convinced me. Check it out (http://glocktalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=80167), I'm looking for a G19. Just kidding about the posting "convincing" me, though; I've wanted a Glock 9mm for a while. Timing, she be everything.

On a purely philosophical level. I know my 19 can handle whatever is thrown its way, but I also know that a 45 can handle that plus a little more. I will be transitioning to my 30 as time goes by, I think.

"All Glocks should be 9mm."

Well, I was wondering where all the Big Dawgs went when that thread appeared - especially since the guy whined about how ham-handed the "large-frame" Glocks are.

It's sad when the 10Ringers are the only ones standing up and defending the .40-&-up calibers. ;f

Sounds like the poor fellow is jealous because his hands aren't manly enough to handle the big dawgs. And we all know what "they" say about guys with big hands...

they have big guns ;-)

Wait just a cotton-picking minute.... I was in there throwing punches for the real calibers... :D

Writer Duane Thomas said the same thing a few years ago. All guns are more reliable in their originally designed calibers. I do not see though.
Stay safe,
