I fired a T/C Encore that had been converted from .30-06 to .300 Win Mag once.
Once.

I can't figger' why anyone would want to shoot a .30-'06 out of a pistol. A single-shot and fairly light-weight pistol at that. Let alone a .300 WinMag. Gluttons for punishment!
I'll stick with a BFR in .45-70, thank you.

Pretty sure the Encore is also available in rifle configuration.

This was when the Encore was first on the market. The biggest caliber then was .30-06, but there was a guy who for some odd reason wanted one in .300 win mag (which they probably make now). So a buddy of mine that's a gunsmith recut the chamber. When we test fired it, we had to lift the extractor by hand over the belt on the cartridge case.
My buddy fired one shot from about 15 yards from an IPSC target and it looked like the flameball almost touched it from my perspective. I'm not sure why I had to be stupid and try it too, but . . . it wouldn't be my first time to be a dumba**.
May I suggest....

The 'Ove' Glove
Withstands Extreme Heat Up To 450 F
Ove Glove Pipping hot pans and sizzling skillets can create danger in the kitchen, but now you can protect yourself from painful burns while creating a culinary master piece, with The Ove Glove®.
The 'Ove' Glove is made from an outer layer of DuPont NOMEX and KEVLAR - the same materials used in firefighter's gloves. Combined, these two materials make the 'Ove' Glove fire and heat resistant, withstanding extreme temperatures up to 480 degrees F. The thermal properties of the 'Ove' Glove outer layer dramatically extend the time a person can handle a hot object.
The tough exterior of the glove forms a thermal isolation barrier, slowing the temperature increase in the interior layer of double-knit cotton. Even when exposed to an open flame, the outer layer of the glove will not catch fire or melt, so it is perfect for use when you want to flamb!
