View Full Version : DFW ranges for defensive shotgun?
Anyone know what ranges in the DFW area accomodate patterning and shooting a home defense shotgun using CHL type targets?

I'd like to know this too and if anyone ever decides to go and doesn't mind me tagging along, that would be great

Not exactly near the metroplex but outside Waco is a place called Tiger Valley that has some stuff for shotguns.

You can try calling the Garland Public Shooting Range I know they allow you to shoot shot guns and not only clay targets but I have seen guys shooting at targets to they are at 2606 Pleasant Valley Rd 972.495.5330
I have checked with a few places that will accomodate tactical shotgun shooting. TargetMaster in Garland allows it on their range. Elmfork in Irving is including three tactical lanes in their massive overhaul of the range following new management - check with them to see when it will be available. Dallas Pistol Club in Carrollton does not allow shotgun, except for tactical shotgun competitions, which are open to non-members.
