I am looking to get a new 19 to replace my 22 for daily carry. What are the laws regarding selling my glock to a friend or someone over the internet? I live in Michigan. Thanks guys.
if you sell to a friend, that friend or someone local they must either have a CPL or a permit to buy. Either one verifies they are of age and have had a background check. You will have to fill out his permit to buy or you can download the paperwork here if he has a CPL.

If you sell out of state the buyer can pay you direct but you must ship the pistol next day air to an FFL in the state of the buyer. The buyer will either have the FFL email you a copy of their FFL license or mail it to you.
You can check the license here.

+1, make sure you check with their dealer to see if it needs to be shipped from another dealer, or if you can ship it yourself. Some dealers won't accept from non ffl's.
