Went to a gun show here in VA Beach this morning - found Georgia Arms and was surprised to find that they are manufacturing GAP now. I picked up 500 rounds for $142.50. I prefer 220 grain rounds, but they only had 185 grain - BUT, for $14.25/50 or 28 cents per round, I couldn't pass it up.
I've used GA ammo before in my ACP days, and was pleased with it! Gosh, 14.50/box for GAP? I'll have to check out there website now!!!

I don't know if it's on the website or not - frankly, I didn't know they were making GAP yet. If only they had the 230s...maybe next time!
I emailed them to see if the rest of us can have a crack at it!!!
Weren't there some problems some time back w/ G.A. ammo? Like exploding guns? I'm positive I read that here on Glock Talk. :whistling:

I saw a thread germane to .223 ammo having some issues, but nothing else (al beit I didn't read all the threads from my search). Over the last several years, I have used GA .40S&W and .357SIG in my P229R and .38 Special my revolvers without a single problem. I will let post if I experience any problems the GAP ammo......

Agree, have only seen problems reported with .223. Their handgun ammo is awesome.
I've been using their ammo for many years with no problems. I've used .380, .38, .357, 9mm, .45ACP, .45GAP, & .223. I too wish they would make heavier GAP ammo but this is apparently what the Georgia State Police want and GA is the main supplier. Can't beat their price on the GAP stuff. Sometimes I can find better prices like WWB stuff. Used their 124gr 9mm for a long time. South Carolina users be careful, the Myrtle Beach area ranges don't allow the ammo. I don't understand why, here in Georiga there is no problem.

Myrtle Beach ranges don't allow any reloads or remanufactured. Liability issue
MB Indoor used to have a revolver with a big KB from Georgia Arms canned heat before they rebuilt after the fire. Also no wolf or Selier & Beloit, or any Mil-Surplus.

Once you go 10mm you will become very acquainted with GA! So much that you say GA instead of Georgia Arms. Anyhow +1 for GA and the 10mm. They have great service and usually pretty quick shipping too - not that I judge the ammo on that trait.
Thanks for making 10mm affordable GA.
