I know the web site states that the USPSA Classification is updated around the 16th of each month, but what has been the norm for these updates? I'm impatiently waiting on my first classification.

The USPSA Classification data does seem to be a bit late this month...Dunno why..

I agree, the updates are slow this month. I'm watching for a couple new classifications, my self.

From Rob Boudrie, USPSA webmaster:

"The classification upload has been delayed a bit on
the Sedro end, and should be available by Monday or
Tuesday. I am working with Sedro to make sure we
can avoid such delays in the future."

This was posted on the unofficial IPSC email list yesterday.

I'm waiting to get my initial Production classification.

Thanks for the info. How do I get on the unofficial IPSC email list?

go to http://www.uspsa.org/mail_list.html
should take care of you.

There is sometimes a lot of off topic conversation/arguement, but you can pick up a lot of good stuff too.

I too was becoming impatient looking for my first classification. I spoke with Ken Skeeters (one of the area 5 USPSA dawgs) yesterday at a match and he said that the USPSA had just finished moving into new offices and that was causing the classification update delays.

....anyday now

The USPSA website is not updated yet (okay, they're still not awake on the west coast yet). But I did get my new membership card in the mail on Saturday with my new (initial) classification in Production. They just need to get the website updated now.

Classifications have been updated. My forth classifier I shot on April 21 was never turned in. :(
My score is available on the net from the club I shot at. Is there a way of getting this updated now, or do I have to wait another month and hope that the scores get turned in?

This was my first classification.
Shooting with the G17- "C"

I started using a G35 Saturday at the LPSA shoot.

Showing your face on here and you haven't made a Louisville shoot yet-
I'd be ashamed:)

See ya at KAPS.

You will more than likely have to wait. Just because the club posts it on the "net" doesn't mean they turned it into the USPSA. Check other club members and see if their classifiers were turned in or if just your's is the one that is missing. If your club posts their USPSA numbers with the results, just check their classification by entering it on the USPSA website and look for the classification.

Many times club's volunteer staff get overwhelmed and don't get the results into the USPSA on time to make the cutoff. And, it's possible that USPSA staff made an error in entering your data. I would start with the club, then move up the ladder.

But, with all that said, chances are you will need to wait another month until the next update is posted. I had the same thing happen to me and never got the classifier posted, it apparently got lost in cyberspace.

I spoke to the club, and they never got turned in. I guess I'll just have to wait another month.
