I noticed that when I post from the Quick Reply box my contributor icons shows up until I leave the page and return.

The icons are back. If you are seeing them intermittently, your computer is caching some of the content here. If you hold the 'control' key and hit the refresh button, you should clear the page cache and load a fresh copy. This should fix the issue. Eric

It didn't for me. :headscratch:

It's not happening now, just a couple times that day.
Don't think it's a cache issue, I was using different browsers just to see and I empty the cache whenever I close the browsers.

Yup, when I use the Quick Reply box, my post comes up with that old icon under my username
Hmm. Nothing for me?

The content cashing could also be due to your internet provider. For example I think AOL cashes content on their web servers to try to improve performance.

I'm a direct connect and run my own firewall. No caching
I now have a new icon that looks like it has a computer in it. I guess it is the new contributor icon ? Mine shows up right after I post a comment but afterwards I no longer see it. Maybe along with not showing the post count Eric has decided to keep the contributor status hidden from public view. I can understand doing that for the same reasons.
When I do a Quick Reply, I see the contributor icons initially. Then, if I do either a (plain vanilla) refresh or a 'control' key (cache clearing) refresh, the icons go away. ... not a complaint ... just trying to help with a field report
Same here, very interesting.

Well, I just donated today, I guess it probably takes some time to get in the system. :wavey:

Probably. Last posting from Eric about stuff like this is he has a few hundred to sort through.

I didn't create an account in the store I just went straight to check out. I may not get credit for it since I didn't create an account. :dunno:
