Up-Grades for pre-ban G22

What up-grades should I have taken care of on a pre-ban G22? Will a Glock armorer do these up-grades free of charge, or will I have to send my gun to Glock? I bought this G22 new in Oct. 92(Gen. 1)if memory serves me.

If your G22 has a two-letter serial number, the armorer will do a free upgrade. If it has three letters, there is no upgrade, but it may have the older style ejector.

The cutoff for G-22 s/n is YS. If yours is before this, then it might need the upgrade. You or an armorer can check the firing pin to determine if the upgrade has already been accomplished. Also, the extractor may need to be replaced if is a certain P/N. I can't remember what the number is off hand, maybe another member can help you with that.
Glock should do the upgrades for free of charge. Just send it to them Via FedEx or UPS. Use FedEx so I can keep my job. Thanks.

This post makes me wonder how exactly a Glock is pre-ban (no flame intended here). I don't see a ban on the books that involves Glock pistols. Maybe you mean its from before the magazine ban. If this is true, I don't understand how this makes the gun pre-ban, just the magazines would be pre-ban as the magazines were directly affected by that law but not the pistols themselves (I see this all the time, just felt like posting this now).
