The Marion County ticket I received August 1st of 2007 (speeding), aka the armour-piercing radar ticket or the "I love a parade and watch me pile up commuters" ticket, was dismissed today.

Barring any confidentiality breeches...
I'd like to hear the story of how it "went down" in the court room! hehe
I'll buy you a root beer at the XXX sometime, as a bribe. LOL!

The judge must have been British.

Indy, no confidentiality--it was MY ticket. 12 over, 62 in 50.
It was August 1, 2007 and I was driving back from martial arts practice on the southeast side, coming north on I-65 when I ran into a roadblock downtown. GIMP was driving 45 in a 50 and looking back and laughing at us all as no one dared to pass him.
I was in middle lane, changed to far left lane and passed semi in front of me (in middle lane), hoping to get out in front of roadblock. As I passed the semi, GIMPy hit his lights and pulled me over. Hence, the armour-piercing radar moniker (or the "I love a parade").
I sent a request that the police officer admit to these facts and since he did not deny them, my request was treated as true and the case was dismissed. Ticket never went to court.
Cops must have their fun, but I got stuff to do.

Update: my case was actually dismissed on November 19, 2007!!!
No one from either Superior XIII or the MCPA told me until yesterday. *grumble, grumble*
I've written Super 13 for a copy of the dismissal order. I've seen cases where dismissed tickets are sent to BMV for FTA and the driver gets themselves suspended.
Great, just what I need, not only do I have a non-federal compliant DL issued by the BMV but now I could possibly be suspended by winning a ticket.

I'm sure you'll be fine. After all, can beat up the government in court.:supergrin:
What's it take to get one of your business cards? ;)
