Just a heads up for folks around Lafayette.
Sportsman's has a few Sure-fire light models 1/2 price. I bought an A2 Avaiator. They also have a number or knives on sale 1/2 price as well. Just thought I'd share.

Is the SW in Lafayette closing? SW is closing a bunch of stores nation wide, including a bunch in Kirk's favorite state (Tejas).

They'd better not close the store in Lafayette! It's the mecca of shooting stuff!

99, not to my knowledge. Everytime I go in SW in Lafayette the gun counter is mobbed by guys with facial hair in Carhart jackets. I assume business is brisk.
I've purchased a dozen or so guns from them since they've been open here. I try to do my part.
Hey, now, Texas is great. I loved going down there when Thunder Ranch was still there before Clint got sick of Tejas and split. I have a soft spot in my heart for Austin.

It's all good then. In reloading, the guys in TX mentioned some of stores had signs stating they would close at the end of the month. The reason given was poor sales.
Enjoy SW, wish they would build one up here.
