I started doing IDPA and I use both my G20's. One primary and another in the bag just in case the first doesn't work (like that would ever happen)
IDPA says stock parts for Stock Service Pistol so I remove my Arotek extended slide releases and install New Glock ones.(not for G17 style)
Problem or slight problem:
The extended slide releases will slide lock open on an empty magazine but will not lock open when done manually with the magazine out of the weapon or a magazine with rounds in it.
The extended slide lever doesn't rise high enough to catch on the slides groove unless the magazine follower is pressing up on the inside tab of the lever.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I can get used to this but was curious to hear if this is occurring on other units
