That the metal detector wands will be in use at Canseco Fieldhouse this weekend for the rodeo?
*girlfriend would like me to go with her*
And since she cooks for me a few times a week, I should probably go...

probably pretty good.
but they dont always use them on everybody.
With all the dinner plate size belt buckles, I can't imagine....
You could always get one yourself then carry behind it.

"Oh, Im sorry I forgot I was carrying, let me go to my truck and drop that off.":whistling:
Wear a six-shooter on each hip and I bet nobody will even so much as bat an eye!

My Dad, Grandpa, and me all three had to do that at Conseco once.

they don't allow self defense, don't go. it's only polite.

Do they let you carry if you show your credentials? I always wondered... Damn double standards :tongueout:

I hate the NBA so I never go to Conseco.
Although if I were to go, I would just say I am a Pacer, they are expected to carry.

I dunno if that would fly - I've seen you shoot!
(that's a compliment, BTW) :tongueout:

 I'm sure they would let you stroll right in.

So, boby, if you're working the rodeo tonight...you could escort me past security, right? hehe

Hehe I'm not working it anyways. Actually I probably could get someone in without a searching, my girlfriend comes with me on details sometimes and they let her in without a search. I don't think IMPD would approve though :tongueout:

I have only been to Conseco three times, and they have never searched me once. I must have an honest face, the people in front of me have been searched and then they look at me, and they let me stroll by.
If I'm wearing a coat I'll open it up as I'm heading toward them so they can look at me better and they just wave me by. Fine by me!

Well...I did go...and I didn't carry.
We were meeting several other people there and I honestly didn't want anyone else to know I was carrying *if* something arose from the "security".
I could've carred IWB with absolutely no problem, though. They just had folks lift the sides of their outter garment (coat) up while a kid in a blue polo looked at my sides.
My CW-40 would've been unnoticible under my untucked polo shirt...especially since I carry at 4:00-4:30.
Live and learn
I'll also admit to having more fun than I thought I was going to have...but watching professional bull riding still ain't all that much fun to watch in the first place. I mean, no one got trampled or gored! Sheesh!
