Hi Folks. I set this up for you today. I was kind of hesitant because we already have an S&W Club and a Wheelhouse Club. Let's give it a try and see where we go. Enjoy your new forum!

View Full Version : Welcome to your new Snubbie Club! Eddie C. 01-09-2008, 20:05 Hi Folks. I set this up for you today. I was kind of hesitant because we already have an S&W Club and a Wheelhouse Club. Let's give it a try and see where we go. Enjoy your new forum! Eddie:wavey: MCPreacher 01-09-2008, 20:15 YEAH!!!!! First post.... :) Oh... and no brand snobbery (yes, I mean you S&W drones....) Glockanatorrrrr 01-09-2008, 20:35 Yay! Thanks Eddie! Minuteman 01-09-2008, 21:03 Steel .357 is the only way to go. Everything else is a toy.... j/k RemSp10 01-09-2008, 21:39 Guess I will claim # 5 post. Pic on thurs pistola-x 01-09-2008, 21:42 I am amazed how accurate my 360PD with CT grips is with +P and 357mag loads. If you can hold the dot and squeeze without trembling with fear of the anticipated recoil you will have a pleasant surprise. glockess56 01-10-2008, 00:29 How can I join this forum? Will we get numbers here, too? I think it's a great idea for a forum. Many times I go to the S&W or Wheelhouse forums to see if there are any posts about snubbies. I have a 442 and a 638 and love them. They are easy to carry and I'm sold on them. I thought I liked the semi-autos for carry and I do like those kind of guns, but for carry, I like the feel of my snubby. Now I look at different snubbies. I even had a 1968 Charter Arms snubbie and have had various S&W's plus two Taurus models (605,905). Thanks for starting the forum, Eddie C. mitchshrader 01-10-2008, 00:38 if you ain't got a 3" chiefs special model 36 no dash nuthin, you ain't cool YET. if you do, it's ugly and smells funny, sell it to ME! ;) my jailbait has been eyein' mine and i'm feelin' nervous. BP44 01-10-2008, 01:26 you think a lowly SP101 packer can hang out in here also or is this a J frame only haunt? mitchshrader 01-10-2008, 02:15 s'all right to hang out here, but, we might accidently call you ruger guys 'boat people'.. :tongueout: Goldendog Redux 01-10-2008, 02:27 I imagine this place will go nuts. 642 every day. I think this is great! Eddie C. 01-10-2008, 10:51 Hi folks. If this club becomes half as popular as I think it might, this was a great idea. I own a 60 and a 640 myself. If you guys want numbers you have to find some one to keep a list in a thread for them. I will sticky it when you are ready. Let me know. Eddie Berto 01-10-2008, 11:09 So, what the hell is a J frame? :faint: JFrame 01-10-2008, 11:44 Uuuhh... S&W34 and 640-1 for me. J frames are the shizma.:odie: deputy tom 01-11-2008, 20:58 J-frames are my favorite handguns.tom. glockatlanta 01-16-2008, 12:43 Thanks for setting this up, Eddie! I have a stainless model 60 (J frame) commemorative. It's really pretty much a "safe queen", and has been for most of the 20+ years I've owned it. But occasionally I drag it out for carry purposes, just for old time's sake. EVery time I do, I realize how easy to carry and how "handy" it is. But, I don't really want to ding it up so it usually goes back into the safe. Snubbies are way cool! :-) BigBluefish 01-21-2008, 11:56 I have a Mod. 36 Ladysmith. A very nice gun, actually. Though not pinned and recessed, it at least has no lock, and a very nice finish blued w/case hardened hammer and trigger. And pretty much puts them were I look out to about 10 yds. Uhm, but it has a 3" barrel. Now, is 3" short enough to get me a J-Frame Snub Club #, or am I stuck with one of those neither fish-nor-fowl, neither a snubby nor service-size revolvers? badge4436 01-21-2008, 22:43 I have a pre-lock 642-1. Bought it new in 1997 and have carried it since. Have made head shots on metal from 50 yards with it. Who said these things can't be accurate at distance? Love this little dude. vBulletin® v3.7.3, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. | ![]() |
