I heard that Glock switched the trigger reach on the G21 to the same as the G30. Is this correct and when did they do that. I'm thinking about a G21 and have found some used ones. The trigger on my G30 is at the perfect place for me and would like the same from a G21. Thanks ST
I don't know where you heard this gem of wisdom but if I was you I wouldn't consider that a reliable source of gun lore.
The G30 and G21 have always been identical in reach, pull, etc. The two guns are the same in internal components (except for the recoil spring assembly, locking block and barrel). Triggers are interchangable. I just ordered and installed a G21 trigger in my G30 to get rid of the grooved trigger our stupid import laws require on a compact gun.

What Dave T said. The only difference between the two is the G30 has a serrated "target" trigger and teh G21 has a smooth trigger. This is due to the ATF restrictions and point system for importation.
I have both a G21 & G30 and as far as I can tell, the trigger reach is the same with both.
GO OUT AND BUY THE GLOCK 21!!! I have one (look at my username!!!), and I think it is the best pistol that Glock makes!!! (All of the rest of you have opinions, too...please don't yell at me for my choice of what I like, I like virtually every Glock model, but some more than others!)
Well, I've got two Glock 21s & a Glock 30 and the only difference I can see is the over all size. The 30 is great for CCW and the full size of the 21 is great also, I like them both. I've noticed no difference in trigger reach between either one.
I have a LEO friend that was involved in a shoot-out awhile back... since then he now carries a G21 in his duty holster, and a G30 in an ankle holster. This gives him 2 pistols of the same caliber, the large mags can be used in both, and he is packing a full 50 rounds of ammo (14 in the G21, 13+13 in 2 mags on the belt, and another 10 in the G30).
