Here's mine. It has a lightened trigger, chamfered chambers, and Hogue Rosewood laminates. The picture is by the smith that did the work. He used it for his catalog.

Yeah, they are the factory grips... and they are very comfortable. Not the most concealable, but comfortable.

I also have an XD, Xd9sc, well, actually, two of them, and a 442, and a model 49 no dash, and I have just purchased (should have it in a week or so), right here on Glocktalk, a pre-36 flat latch subbie. Can't wait to get that bad boy. Pictures when I actually have it.

Here it is on top of the G36 for a size comparison.

And here is the first range session with it. These 10 shots were after 50 to get accustomed to the gun and trigger. 1 second give or take between shots.

Forgive my snub noobness..but what is the pre lock thing about?
Many oppose buying any new Smith and Wesson (or Taurus) that has the internal locking mechanism. This is because they feel the companies (esp. S&W) sold out to "the man". I don't entirely disagree with them, but they still make one heck of a revolver...even if it has the "Clinton Lock".
Here's an old pic:

Does anyone know if I can shoot +P out of this one? I know the earlier 36's were a no go on .38+P but not sure of the older ones.

I always wanted one when I was a kid, but by the time I got legal in the late 80's I was into 1911's. Stumbled across this one last year and used Christmas money to get it. Looks like the parkerizing was redone with a black Teflon or something, but i still dig it and carry it on a regular basis. Keep it loaded with Speer +P hollow points.
