I love my ruger 10/22 carbine...but I really do not like the stock sights. I do not wish to scope the little gun as all of my other rifles are scoped. This gun is meant to be a plinker and small game "go getter." I would like a set of sights that are easy to see and will also enable me to hit a 3" plate at about 50 yards. I can do it now at about 60% success with the stock sights but would like to see better. I am an excellent shot but the sights just aren't precise enough. My trigger control is near perfect so please don't suggest that. Just a sight suggestion is needed. Thanks and happy shooting.
As a side note...I would highly suggest this rifle to anybody. I bought it because I just can't afford to shoot anything else as much as a .22 rimfire. I like to shoot about 1000 rounds a week on average. This Ruger 10/22 is by far my new favorite rifle.
