Is that the mags with the "racing stripes"? The ones I purchased from Midway are of that design and differ somewhat from my factory mags. They don't always drop free even though they are full metal lined.

They just have a a smooth line on each side of the mag that stands out. I will post a photo when I get my net hooked up at my new place (just moved). When I researched this type of mag all I could find was one article referring to them as "racing stripes". It could be a different generation of magazine as the base differs also from modern mags (still square, full metal lined, just cut differently).
