I just got done putting another 10,000 rounds in my 19. Not all rounds at one time. So I detail strip and clean. Some how the Spring-loaded bearing got lost. The little plastic piece that goes into the Extractor depressor plunger spring.
Does Glock sell this part separate? I have a total of 40,000 rounds through my Glock 19C. Should I also replace the Recoil Spring Assembly? The Firing pin safety also looks tarnished or has some wear on it. I want to stay stock since it has been working fine. I usually do a Detail strip about 10,000 rounds. SO this is my 4th time taking it apart. I just can’t figure where the little plastic part went. I had it on a tray all disassembled.

Call them, they'll probably just send you a couple. If not it's only a couple of bucks. Glock is good aout these little things. Good luck.

No Called them but wouldn't send me anything I am not a Glock Armorer. They were nice enough to give me the names of someone to call. But I thought my gun was under warranty? What happens if a recoil spring breaks. I am trying to get the updated feed ramps for my Mags.
I ordered the part they are $5.00 I ordered 3 of them and 2 extra recoil springs. $10.00 from Ajax. I tried Glockmister first, but no answer and their answering machine must be full I couldn't leave a message.

$5.00 each? Well that's a pretty good markup. They can take the rest of the day off. I am a Glock Armorer.

What is the difference in color? I had the black one. They show a white and Brown one also.

edpmedic: Did you talk with somebody in Parts or Warranty Services? I'm surprised that Glock/Smyrna wouldn't send you the part. They sent me everything from recoil assemblies to a replacement Meprolight sight, and I'm not a Glock armorer.

It was Warranty I think I will call them back and speak to someone in parts.

I think you're on the wrong page, not trigger springs, spring bearing.

Quack I think your talking about the trigger parts. The peice I am talking about is a little black cap. If you have the Glock Manual its page 18 part #14. Its called the spring-loaded Bearing. When you put the Slide cover plate back on it sits in a little indent on the back.
Walter and Firelock Thanks I called Glock back and they are going to send me one. I am so careful when I take it apart. I had it sitting in a tray and can't understand where it went. Anyway called AJAX back and told them just send me the recoil springs. Told them $5.00 is a little to much for the part. Thanks again guys for your help.

Well I went driving to see if some other gun shops had the part. It seems I am always a day late. Therefore, I guess I will have to wait and hope it gets here fast. I just hate to be with out a pistol with all that is going on in NY right now.
I guess this made up my mind to start shopping for another Glock. It will be hard CCW a AR15 20". I am still looking on the ground when I go to the range later for the part. I know it has to be there maybe I will get lucky

Marc, You put 40k rounds through it and ask if you should change the recoil spring? You know better than that.

Yea I know but it works so good.
Glock WILL send you anything you can replace without taking the gun down past the field stripping, i.e. recoil spring, barrel (that is a swap out), sights, magazine parts, etc. If you have to take the gun apart via pins/upper, no go.
