i had one until i got comfortable with carrying and a lighter trigger in general. i now carry a 3.5 with polished internals.

nothing wrong with it, i wasn't noticably more/less accurate with or without the 3.5/ny1 combo.

just try it, these parts can be had for not much.

I have that combo and I'm more accurate with it. To me, it makes the trigger pull feel smoother and the lack of a "sticky" spot where the break occurs helps me to not anticipate the shot as much and so I don't throw myself off target by trying to compensate for the recoil. For me, it has nothing to do with added safety of the NY1... I just like the way it feels.

I have that combination on the G21, G30 and G36. I have never liked a "stacking" trigger - meaning the pressure/resistance builds toward the end - and that is exactly what you get with a standard (5.5#) Glock trigger set-up. The NY1 and 3.5# combo gives a more consistant, revolver like pull and cleaner brake at the end.
This is a very personal thing and YMMV.

What Wadely and Dave said. I have the setup on my 17, because the trigger was REAL "chunky", HUGE break point, I don't know if it's because it's an older model or not... but my new 30, teh factory trigger is a LOT smoother, though I polished the connector and trigger bar, and I shoot it perfectly fine... but, like the other poster said, the parts don't cost much, so it's no biggy... http://glockdoc.home.texas.net/ has the connectors for $10.00, plus about .40 cents shipping, and the springs are $1.50, I think... can get both for about $12.00 from him, if he has them in stock... try it, if you don't like it, sell them on GlockTalk or eBay(probably for about 60% profit, people pay crazy prices on eBay)
