View Full Version : New Club Name?
Not to get overly cerebral on this, but what constitutes a 'snubby' revolver for this forum?
I submit anything 3" (or 3 and one sixteenth for the sp guys) and less.
...makes sense?:dunno:

Good question, Berto.
Not sure... my guess would have been less that 3".
Also, as another decision point, should we remove J-Frame from the club name to be more inclusive of non S&W snubbies?
Or just add "and other" Snubbies...
And yes, please include the 3" barrel snubbie.

The Smith & Wesson Model 60, the world's first stainless steel revolver, was a success from its introduction in 1965. Praised by both law enforcement and sportsmen, the Model 60 was a stainless steel version of the Chiefs specialŪ and began the era of stainless steel handgun production. New for 2005 is a 5" barrel length added to a lineup of 2-1/8" and 3" barrels. The Model 60 is the perfect choice for those seeking a small frame, all-steel revolver with greater recoil control and proven performance.

I guess I'd vote to shorten the name of the club to "The Snubbie Club". Many of the issues will be shared across various makes of snubbies while those interested in J-frame specific info will still know where to go to find it.

I would vote for the Snubbie Club.
I own several snubbies but only one J-Frame
We now have a poll above regarding the question. Let me know if there are other ideas for a name.

Sweet, thanks Russ!
I would say Snubbie Club....
I'm clearly gonna get creamed in the voting, but given my user name, I HAVE to go with option #1...
:crying:
I changed the thread name to reflect the poll...
