I have seen a few people post pics of there guns here that had lasermax's or Ct's on them, and on a few i have seen that the owner placed a "laser warning" sticker on them.
Why?
Do you have to put a sticker on you gun if you put a laser on it?
Would you get into trouble if you used one and you didnt have a sticker on? Thanks

The instruction book with my Lasermax states it "may" be a violation of federal law.
Yes, you are supposed to affix the sticker to the gun, once it's laser-equipped--as if a perp is going to read it!
You will note that a cop's traffic radar has a similar warning--one you never get to see, as they spray you with microwave radiation.
All retail laser scanners have similar warnings posted--as if you're going to hunker down and read it!
I'm sure many of these stickers are bilingual!
Glock 27, if it ever gets to that, the laser radiation warning sticker will be the least of your problems!
Just say it fell off!

The FDA regulates Lasers. The FDA says that the installer of any laser must post a warning that a laser has been installed.
In the case of gun lasers the best a manufacturer can do is provide the warning labels and tell you the FDA requires them, as the FDA requires the manufacturer do that.
You can call/e-mail the manufacturer and all they legally could say is you are required to do so install the stickers. Whats fun is when the customer keeps asking "but do I really have to install them..."

Oh great... Now the FDA will want to regulate guns, and the biggest obstacle in that path is a turf war with the ATF...
The secondary job of the "matress police" is to check all weapons for the little sticker.
If your found guilty of non-compliance your weapon will be confiscated and in return will be given a Bryco,Jennings,or Davis.
Trust me.(?)
