Shot my 642 at the IDPA match

Yep, instead of my semis - I decided to give it a whirl. Speed loading was a tad slow and I screwed up one long distance target and a head shot target but overall, it's doable. I did manage some long shots in 1 shot on some distance metal plates.

I think we should do more of that as the guns are probably carried more than our 1911s and Glock 34s.

We had a BUG match last fall but all I had was my P3AT....

I have a Taurus 605SS coming back from the factory soon!

Can't wait to take her to the range. She had a problem with the cylinder binding before I could take her on a first date!

Can someone describe the general course of fire for a BUG match?

Is it designed for a 5-shooter?
